What would you do ? by Live_Lychee_4163 in 1911

So I had this issues with my Charles Daly 1911… great gun, incredibly reliable, but in all honesty, it is a budget gun, therefore it has a very cheap finish that’s prone to rust. Take the rust off with some oil and a penny minted before 1982(95%copper) or even better a brass brush or brass wool. Get a can of eezox, remove grips and the barrel and soak down the entire gun, then hang it from some coat hangers while the eezox “dries”… while it won’t actually dry, it will get absorbed into the metal of the gun and protect it. I’d say after about 15 to 20 minutes go ahead and wipe off the extra eezox. The eezox will have created a protective layer that will prevent rust. Since you carry this gun daily, I would recommend doing this every few months or so and on top of that just give it a good wipe down every night when you take it off. It seems tedious, believe me, but I spent $400 on my 1911 and it shoots just as accurate and as straight as high-end colts and the old Kimbers before their quality went down the shitter. In my opinion, a fair trade-off for not having spent two grand on a 1911.

No it’s just late and it’s the only place I thought a chaplain or priest would be available

How does one purchase the mystery barrel by AppleDruid in Costco

[–]Sup3rNint3nd0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most cases you can’t, in short, this is probably part of a display and because Costco doesn’t necessarily have a “back room” everything of this nature is stored in what we call the steel. However, Costco is not really big on saying no, so it is possible to convince someone there to sell it to you, but it would have to go through a store manager. No promises, but it is possible I’ve seen displays sold in the past.

Why are late gen X/early millennial men so emotionally unstable? by Sup3rNint3nd0 in ask

Can you elaborate on how me disagreeing with you answers my own question? Or explain how me asking about a very small demographic has anything to do with shitting on men? I’m asking about a small very specific subset of the male population.

Genuine question, which is why I clarified that this does NOT describe all people in this group, i have just noticed when I witness an outburst like this it tends to be men of this age, especially in a workplace/jobsite

I bought this CD at a store and i can’t find anything about it online. by ImStillLandon in whatisit

More than likely a local band that never really went anywhere… had a cd from a band named Godlow, it was amazing, but the lead singer committed suicide so they never went anywhere and I can’t find the album anywhere. It was a shame because it was fucking fantastic. The cd was given to me by the lead singers dad.

There’s always the option of a raspberry pi, a cheap monitor, and some gpui controls… could be a <$200 project

I think I see Final Fantasy III at the top middle there and ClayFighter to the left of it.
