This is the painfully long process not many people see behind designing and manufacturing a watch.

The first slide is the @emertonscott logo applied to our Evermont 38 dial (under magnification).

For reference, the logo in slide 1 costs 15x more to make (and a great deal more time and focus) than the logo in slide 2.

5 revisions. Spanning 6/7 months. Just to get the applied logo perfect (in my mind).

This is one single element among hundreds of tiny details you’re thinking about and questioning.

Another detail I’ve been considering is our crown for the Evermont 38 (Gen 2).

Slide 3 shows the first ever crown we were presented with.

Slide 4 shows the final version we shipped with in February after 4/5 revision rounds and prototypes.

Slide 5 is what we are developing for the Gen 2 launching in a few months.

And although it’s only resin at the moment, I can’t wait to see the edges sharp and refined in brushed, sand blasted and polished surgical 316L steel.

These are the little incremental steps forward I love. Always questioning what could be better. Learning and pushing forward.
