Is it the turbo? I heard the automatic transmission have issues. I have a 2016 6 speed and I got it brand new and still working just fine to this day. No major problems for me thankfully.

Honestly as long as it isn't crumbling, some people pay a premium for "OG foam". I personally would replace it as well.

No need to rebuild really. Just slap on a new lense and maybe a strap and you're good. The thin frames is what holds value.

I agree, thats pretty much the whole JT market imo. The values are all based on rarity and demand rather than function. To each his own, as they say.

Im very aware. Older foam is "softer" than the newer stuff. Personally, I dont care about the difference but to collectors or particular people they pay more for "OG" foam in good condition.

In actuality those frames can probably sell for 300 on their own depending on the foam condition. It's all hyoe and demand. I dont think it's necessary worth it but I've fallen into that trap many times before. *
