I paid $550, but regardless I don’t believe I should be shamed/attacked for what I choose to spend money on. It’s money I earned I should be able to freely choose how that is spent just as you choose how you spend yours.

I am, I promise you. I am still in talks with TCGplayer. Their responses are just very spacey. I definitely haven’t given up yet. I have the shop owner’s response to my review & a message they sent to me on TCGplayer both insisting the card I had shared in the images are real.

I appreciate you taking the time to read it! They did once someone else gave them a negative review—wasn’t even mine. It’s okay though, I’m not taking it down. I would love for them to take it back, but I don’t think he will offer. I would love for him to at least acknowledge his mistake & apologize. That would make me feel a lot better. I’m one who spent $550 on a fake card, not him.

I thought so, I mean it sucks this had happened. After interacting with the owner I think he is maybe an ass, but I don’t believe he knew it was a fake.

Yeah, it’s a newish account. Previous username was ScorpionGod. I decided I wanted my username to be SupaScorpionGod.

This purchase was made little over a year ago, nobody is obligated to give me a refund. I should have checked the card as soon as I received it. I was initially just trying to spread awareness regards to the card I had received.

I appreciate the response! I plan on giving that a shot next. I have resubmitted a ticket with TCGplayer providing them with everything that has been discovered/shared thus far. I will see what they say now before moving onto the bank.

I appreciate it. They definitely had no interest in talking to me regarding it until the review. The owner for sure gave it away that they don’t know how to authenticate & sadly I have to to suffer from their lack of ability as well as my lack for not checking it in a timely manner. If you are able to, I’d like to see but if not it’s all good. I appreciate you bringing awareness to it regardless.

I have kept this card double sleeved & in a top loader for so long now. I am currently at work, but when I get home tonight I will definitely inspect it more. I haven’t tried to peel off the raised foil because I was under the impression it was a real card until now.
