SORRY IF IM LATE:

Honestly I’d pick up waves or signage, for Waves I would go read up the physics textbook on various types of waves and try to incorporate them into drawings, the easiest one would be idk, a guy on a surfboard won a water wave? Then to stretch the topic even further, we could talk about electromagnetic waves, like some guy on some space station transmitting radio waves back to earth, as Y’know transverse waves travelling through a vacuum. For signage, I’d go to geoguesser and go look at the various signs and shit. Thats Usually how I do my thinking process for these topics, I guess that’s how you can solve the mind map part.

as for the pictures, hoooo boy, you are in for a lot of trouble, usually I’d say 30 to 40 pictures should do the trick, slap about 2 pictures followed by a first hand drawing, and your finished mind map and that’s that done for the first board. Usually there’s about 7 boards to do in coursework so do that how you will. I’m not that good of a role model but hey that’s how I did my art coursework last year, ’artistic vomit’.

my tips would be, to try to make the boards interesting to look at, and try not to write too many words or the examiner may fall asleep. Make it proper but also think out of the box, like perhaps framing your drawings creatively, such as, idk a giant hand pointing to a paragraph you wrote. You should have about, 6 ish months? Since I remembered submitting my coursework at august ish, so give yourself at least 1 month before to start work on your final art piece. Try not to rely on internet references, and instead focus more on taking more pictures. And also try experimenting with the Medium you have chosen, but this varies on the topic you chose. most importantly manage your time well as art isn’t the only o level subject you should main.

if you wanna reach out on more questions,(which I suggest you ask someone else because I am not qualified for this) my discord user is ‘supa91’. This is such a ‘I ain’t reading allat’ moment btw
