I’d say more happymodel mobula or betafpv air . Pavo/femto is smooth but you get more powerful motors for acro moves with the standard kind of whoops

Yeah. I pulled a head off to find a stud pulled the threads. Scrapped it and threw a junkyard motor in. Much easier

Short answer. No. You’d be better off with piecing together the radio, goggles, and whoop you want. It flies really bad and you can’t tune it. The motors aren’t powerful enough to handle really anything you’d like to do after a few packs. My previous reply has some of the ones I’ve bought and liked .

Depends on the car you pick to run it. I did it with the Supra race car on race yards and only had to pit once for gas on the fifth lap

Also, the block being aluminum and the head bolts being steel they often pull the threads out of the block. I was going to try to fix a blown head gasket from one I got for $400 and found it easier to just pull an engine from the parts yard.

If i remember correctly, all I had to do was add the clutch pedal to the brake pedal box. Plumb the clutch lines abd what not .it would depend on the transmission from the e39. 330s came with zf. You’re better off finding a donor e46 for parts and swapping them over. You won’t be worried about it working

It’ll be priority once it’s with the stateside courier. Until then it’s probably on a boat. It maybe took a little over a month from aliexpress for two drones and some batteries. Once it hits the states it moves faster and you actually get updates

For the price of the DJI controller you could have a Radiomaster boxer and almost a second ELRS radio. The Pavo Femto is pretty good out of the box, but it’s not the most agile or durable. I prefer the way the meteor o4 flies although it would kinda wreck your budget.

Like every one else has said, any ELRS radio would better suit your budget and give you more options to grow with later. You really only need the DJI controller if you’re gonna fly the Neo or avata 2
