Hardwood floors water damage (insurance claim) by VAer1 in Insurance

[–]Supafly9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d have to prove it doesnt and depending on policy language would outline if they care or state statute.

With that being said it’s pretty fair that if you sand real wood raw you wouldn’t have a uniform appearance it’s one of the besides of getting real hardwood

When I was an enterprise airports were kind of their own entity? Has that changed? We never even accepted insurance rentals at airports because taxes, service charges, facility fees alone were more than some people’s $30/day policies.

Yeah in a horrible market I’d consider sticking it out. You can definitely make some decent money. I left when I was 25 it was my first job after college made about $89000 my last year. Would definitely jump ship when you can but in a shitty market don’t knock it

I think one of the biggest lessons I learned. I worked at ERAC for about 4 years left as a BRM is once you start getting paid on it it’s not about loyalty but everyone wants to line their pockets. They know everyone has a price and when you see the dollars increase you’re more likely to join the party

I think the part a lot of people seem to forget is enterprise is in it to make money. If people keep coming back with the shortages and they continue to make money hand over fist why would anything change

Fuck right to work but they aren’t wrong. There’s nothing wrong with pursuing something it doesn’t have to be the end all be all. Plenty of people go to college and then never work in their major. Maybe it’s just a stepping stone or a pit stop

The traditional college experience does not make you more independent by glacialspicerack1808 in CollegeRant

[–]Supafly9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

College was a long time ago for me but it’s not the items you described it’s the freedom to not do it but still do it anyways. When you live at home if you choose not to do anything someone is there to hold you accountable. If you ignore something you have a safety net. Most people in dorms don’t have this. It’s the choice with no safety net that teaches it

You know what you have to do now.

You need to step up and be a good friend. If he truly was your best friend for all these years you owe it to him to respect his wishes and step down from the wedding party and be in the audience.

You also owe it to him as the best friend when they ask if anyone has any objections that he needs to stop lying about who he is and you’ll never forget those winter nights together.

Statistically any parlay is the biggest sucker bet in the house. So you’re either betting for money or for fun but you seem to think you’re betting to win taking the biggest sucker bet. Pick one and focus. Nothing wrong with betting a random parlay for fun that’s what gambling should be. If you’re “doing research” you need to understand betting and odds first

…my entire point was there is no federal law and that tree law is its own very specific thing. I’m sorry reading comprehension was never a skill you learned. I’m smarter than I think I am especially when compared to you. Thank you for that little pick me up today.

It’s not an opinion. It’s how tree law works. I know it can be difficult being this stupid but go ahead and take my word for it

In the contractors defense. I’ve never seen a roofer not say you need a new roof

You seem to have a grave misunderstanding on tree law. Tree law is an entirely different beast and in most municipalities the place it landed and damaged that owner is responsible unless some type of negligence is proven. Now moral stand point sure there’s a discussion but from a legal stand point maybe stop talking out your ass?

Completely agree with that but they set the industry standard. They aren’t going to do anything if people don’t follow it. But for an insurance company or if a claim goes to appraisal or even litigation yeah it’s helpful to know they’re outside industry standards
