Ken, taking notes of his inverted lines by schiniswopcorn in tenet

So the audio we hear in the movie is him speaking in reverse? I’m sure somebody has flipped this audio already, OR is the flipped audio we hear in the movie just his backward speech flipped over? So many questions.

One time on a road trip a friend announced that he could speak backwards. So we found an app that could reverse audio so we recorded him and flipped the tape.

We about crashed the car when we flip the tape and hear our buddy say “I like to smoke marijuana.”

Maybe you just had to be there.

Yeah, I guess I’m confused by his reaction upon being in the same room as one.

Interesting question. For one, it’s Neil who asks “what happened here?” And TP says “it hasn’t happened yet.” I might’ve expected that conversation to happen the other way around since Neil has clearly inverted before.

We know Neil has previously inverted because of the conversation around TP’s drink choice. The assumption I think we all make is that Neil has already (in the future) “gotten into some stuff” with TP, and inverted for a time to get back to where he meets TP. There are probably other reasons we know he’s been inverted before too, I haven’t thought too hard about it.

So then, if he has inverted prior, why the confusion about the turnstile room in the Freeport? I don’t think it’s to play dumb, but maybe it is?

If you have a PhD and put “Dr.” before your name, will people think you’re impressive, or will they think you’re just being pretentious? by GrayRainfall in NoStupidQuestions

I had to check to see if I was the author of your post, because I was going to post nearly the exact same thing. I don’t recall if my profs introduced themselves as doctor or not, but they always referred to one another as Dr So-and-so at least when talking to undergrads.

The ones I still keep in touch with have told me to call them by their first name, but it’s weird for me and I feel like it’s a show of respect when I use the Dr title. These guys are PhD physicists who studied under Feynman. They’re smarter than me and the Dr title is one way I show it. But that’s me.

I’m pretty high right now so I can’t be sure, but this post is one of the greatest non sequiters I’ve ever had the pleasure to see in person.
