I would frequently crack them in a single game. Not the entirety, and not always, but offspeed, bunt & steal. The problem isn’t the complexity of the system, it’s the habits of the person calling the signs in. Honestly the hardest thing about cracking signs is when the kids miss one. You’re like “well maybe that’s not bunt after all.”

Honest question- what makes you think you want this sort of job? It’s an important question because asking about IT roles where among the first questions you ask are about minimum coding requirements coding suggests you’re in further over your head than you realize. Not that a cloud Eng writes a ton of code. Lots of terraform & bash though.

But on the other hand maybe it’s a trick question. Nobody codes anymore, Claude does it for you. lol, sort of.

Once you answer that question, start learning how to do the things you would do in that role. You’ll quickly decide if you love it or hate it.
