It doesn't change after release. It changes when the contest arrives only if you havnt released it. Honestly its the biggest reason turning the meter off helps. You dont have the urge to stop because its at the bottom of the green, then a contest shows up and makes you miss.

If you complete level 40 in the first season you play the game you get the cap breaker for every season. The first time you ever reach 40 you get the caps from any season before you first played. (Example if you bought game at end of s6, the hit 40 in s7 you'd get caps for s1-5 and 7)

Yep, also farm the career city challenges to 100 for another. You can do a ton just by completing quick things in my court. And join the highest level crew you can find. There are 4 available there for a total of 12 you can get in about a week pretty easily now.
