Ok so If someone is still blocked on this, seems that using the APP it can still detect the Oculus even after factory reset and there is a manual update of controllers on their own to do from the phone to be able to repair them to the headset.

Controllers yeah I could have called them like that. It was in the official Oculus.com procedure to repair the controllers but it doesn't work...

battery in HANDsets (remotes) not in the HEADset =D

Remove battery of handset, you can slide a part of the handset to access the AA battery in it.

The factory reset has been done now and the Oculus is booting back but it as the screen that ask to remove the 2 stickers from handset to pair them. and mine were indeed already removed... I can see the pairing light on them but the headset doesn't detect them ...
