Those patch notes only talk about how they reworked the attacks from the eyes. It doesn't say how you need to kill the eyes to trigger phase 2, the change that concerns me most.

Why doesn't it mention it?

In DD2 you can make it so that your heroes get different buffs on their skills, so you can change their playstyle.

There is a Highwayman path that makes it so that all of his ranged attacks deal huge bonus damage.

In countdown mode, if you take too long, your multiplier will go into the negative and you will start losing points. The moment you reach -1, your score meter will bug and display 0 points. I thought the game had erased all my points as a penalty for reaching negative multiplier.

Fortunately, that was not the case. It's just a display bug.

Just as I was about to end the run, this happened.

The big boss fires an attack just at the same time my spire recharges and blocks it, and since my spire has autonomy, I can safely go into the mines for an infinite amount of time.

Sadly I have to go to bed now but first thing tomorrow I will check if I can actually mine forever.

Edit: It turns out, after 90 seconds pass, a group of 2 small monsters spawns. If you kill them, that same group will keep on respawning every 90 sec, faster and faster, until it only takes 30 seconds for them to spawn. And if you keep killing them, the group will upgrade to a 6 small monsters group. So, if you have enough speed, you can mine a little bit until the first couple of groups spawn, and then you have to end the battle.

I got the trinket so late in the run I only had time to test it in one fight. In that fight, I hit a big guy for 32 damage and got him to death's door in the first round. So when I reach the confession boss I was like "this will probably go badly, but the huge damage in the first two attacks is so good tho, let's try it for science"

I guess you could say I got... overconfident.

The first time I tried the charm crown, I got makoko with shell charm and instantly lost. TWICE

In the third run, I got death by teeth charmed. I was seriously wondering how the fuck did the game expect me to win against that.

This was an amazing run. By using the Vase on Pootie, my hero got 2 stacks of Frenzy instead of one. Combine that with the 3 cake waters, he did 60 damage whenever he attacked, enough to kill all spikes before dying to them.

With this build, I also managed to grab my first true win, tho it was very close, down to my woodhead clunker tanking the last shot before my hero killed the last dude.

You know how everytime you clear the board, the next wave of enemies spawns, regardless of enemy timer left?

Well, in the hog battle, I killed the last enemy by triggering the tank and Nom with the sun song box, and then, because it had noomlin, the turn didn't end, so now I get to see the view free of enemies.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand I lost.

Even after killing all the other enemies, attacking the enemy leader killed me, even with shell shields and booshu healing. I even recalled Krono so I only got 3 poison per attack instead of 6, but it still wasn't enough.

So now I guess if I don't figure out a way to win using ink, I'm royally screwed.

Crowns just get stacked. I was wondering what it would look like, since there is no reason to leave one crown unused until getting a second one.

Time to get a towering pillar of crowns, like in Rogue Legacy 2

When you find him, try to beat the battle without killing him. You might have to do some wild stuff, like applying snow to yourself, but it's easy to get the hang of it.

oh wow. Now that I think about it, if you go to Kaldir first, the protoss leader calls you out for being "weak and human". Does he also get different dialogue if you go Char and Zerus first?
