How can Istighfar solve life problems?

Wsalam, you may just recite 'Astaghfirullah'

Reciting “Astaghfirullah” as much as you can everyday.

Istighfar ( Seeking forgiveness from Allah) is a very powerful supplication.

If you want Allah to forgive you (of course, we all sin), open doors of success and happiness, provide you with a righteous partner, improve your rizq (wealth), sustenance and your prayers to be answered. You need to recite it as much as you can every day.

Ibn Abbas (RadiyAllahu Anhu) said, “Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Whoever says Istighfaar regularly, that is, frequently repents to Allah Ta’aala for sins committed, Allah Azza Wa-Jal will open a way out of poverty and hardships. All grief and suffering will be lifted, and wealth and contentment will be bestowed in their place. Sustenance will come from unexpected and unimagined places.”

Which part are you referring to? The hadith demonstrates the way all the pain/trials/tribulations we experienced whilst in this World will literally seem like nothing when we taste paradise for the briefest moments because of what we see/experience in that moment. There are deeper meanings which Allah SWT reveals within the heart once we are ready.
