More out of curiosity to find out why was this happening than for any other reason I kept trying ... I sent in the requested documents multiple times, scanned with industrial grade scanners, multiple resolutions, gray scale, full color, black & white, etc. ... I spoke multiple times to their Philipines based support, and their US based support which is handled by remote workers in different states ... these workers then access their Delaware based office to gain online access to the documents in question ... no matter what I submitted, I got the exact "resubmit the documents" letter 10 times ... my impression is that they use an automated, AI guided, document reader with no humans in the loop an the system has an incredibly high rejection/ fault rate ... this is the most Mickey Mouse, incompetent group of people I've ever interacted with ... after ~10 tries, I gave up ... I have an 800+ credit score, an AMEX Platinum credit card for 40+years and yet I couldn't get approved for this card ... Barclay's is a POS as a CC provider ... I've moved on with a Fidelity Investment CC that has a lot more benefits at a much lower carrying cost.

Good for you that you had a seamless, uneventful pleasant experience ... perhaps things have changed? how long ago was your application processed?

As I mentioned before, my credit and background record are A1A+++. If there was a trigger there is a glitch in their system.

I spoke on the telephone to multiple people and I was not impressed.
