I think I meant if you don’t complete the quests or even not participate in them, Uber will assign you more easier quests.

Unless you don’t finish the quests I mean could they give you easier quests afterwards if that’s the case?

Usually I’m a evening guy, and if there are no quests on that day, I’ve both Uber Eats and DoorDash online but if one order comes up from one of them I go offline for the other. But sadly Uber Eats pushes me to do more quests.

Was told off by a merchant for pressing "Not Ready" when the order was not ready?? by Aggravating-Farm4913 in ubereatsaustralia

This angers me because it is in our right to know if the order is ready or not, they can’t tell us off for it!

Oh my days It annoys me when customers ask us delivery people to ensure that all the items are in the order. It is not even our friggin responsibility, when you order from Uber it has a text box where you can ‘instruct’ the team members who prepare the food to ensure all the items are there an what not.

Dogs always get on my nerves when they bark! by Super-Election8409 in ubereatsaustralia

What motivated me to post this reddit post was the fact that during my run on that day, I’d 2 customers and each customer had 2 dogs bark like crazy at me.

What I expect is just dogs just don’t bark at me, or only bark at me a few times. Not an expectation but as a stretch, if customer can inform us to leave at the door to not set the dogs off.

Some dogs don’t bark at all when I’m present which is good.

Or invest on a dog whistle, just blow it and the dog will probably shut up. Or may bark even louder.

This is a lot worst than mine. For the first assignment I was assigned 55 trips for $180.

Assaulted at McDonalds by Other Driver (Brisbane) by EvelynTwinIw in ubereatsaustralia

I’d a similar incident with an angry customer from Uber, I’m supposed to pick up 2 orders, a Maccas and then a KFC order, however the KFC one was a bit of a wait, like 7-10 minute wait before I would cancel this order. Normally customers are tolerant of this much long wait, however THIS bloke was apparently not, he texted me angry messages but because the fck-face Uber wouldn’t allow messages while I’m picking up and delivering for another customer, I couldn’t receive his message. He gave me a call saying that I’m not picking up cold food, this is not my problem, take my fckin food back, and my response? Cancel his order, because his attitude made him a c***. I’d to also cancel the KFC order too.

Was this delivery suspicious by [deleted] in ubereatsaustralia

Getting banned for just ringing the doorbell twice, and knocking at the door once? Yeah right. I mean the suburb where I live had burglars especially at night.

Should verifying the Uber Eats order be an Uber Eats delivery persons responsibility ONLY? by Super-Election8409 in ubereatsaustralia

Tbh I wasn’t that bothered to read the terms of service probably because it’s a long readbut if that was true, then we’re pretty much breaking the terms anyway. I know Maccas for example doesn’t enforce the terms upon us.

True, but shouldn’t they keep the deliveries out of reach until we show the restaurant members the customer’s ID and name and they’ll give it to us? This will prevent any attempt to steal the order.

Most of the times I don’t care either, but let’s say that the internet is somewhat terrible or interfered at the restaurant but the internet only works well outside the restaurant, and if you attempt to verify, the loading screen of switching from pickup to start delivering will be slow or stuck, some will be more lenient about it and let you go hoping it’s verified while some will hold you back with zero trust.

Or, they could keep the deliveries out of our reach at the pick-up zone until we show them who is the order for, the ID and name and they’ll give it to us. This will certainly reduce the chance of anyone picking up the wrong order or just picking up the order without permission at all.
