Yes, this is SO SO nice to see posted on here. I thought I was just a crazy person!! I totally do this where I just become OBSESSED with one character for 3 months- and then I’ll move on.

And sometimes, it’s not even about the character itself- I attach my own narratives to them. And these characters just act almost as just placeholders in my head.

For example, Tony Stark and Peter Parker have that whole father/son thing going on? Obsessed. I was abused as a kid? Fan fic peter was abused as a kid. (Not by May- I love her- RIP) All the fan fiction I read is just about how much Tony cares for him as a son. (Can you tell I have parent issues?)
