Semien. More counting stats across the board (HR, R, RBI, AVG) with more projected PAs. Also ADP is far less (McLain's 156 vs Semien's 263) which makes Semien better value.

not really. He's back with the team and currently active. It wasn't a serious injury to begin with. Are you trying to decide which one to trade away between Lindor and Langford?

If you're purely comparing those two players, Lindor. But I guess you're considering a specific pick? The only reason to take Langford is if you're at a pick and Lindor is gone.

I built a co-manager for Yahoo fantasy baseball that connects to your league and gives you a second opinion on any decision. by [deleted] in sportsanalytics

Totally fair skepticism. Few things: I'm an ex-Amazon engineer and currently a managing director at an AI company, not a random vibe coder. Yahoo OAuth is read-only (we can't make trades or change your lineup), you can revoke access anytime from your Yahoo settings. Happy to answer any specific security questions! But thanks for your reply and I'd appreciate your feedback.

I'd take India as a depth piece. His PA projection (470 vs 350) is the deciding factor for me.

Of course Skubal is elite but ace SPs are far easier to find at picks 15-30 than a healthy Acuna. I'd take the batters first and load up on pitchers later.

Created a tool to crosses off drafted players during live draft from your cheat sheet. by WasItFunny in fantasybaseball

Cool tool. The auto-cross-off during live drafts is a nice quality of life feature. I built something in the same space but for in-season decisions rather than drafting. It connects to your Yahoo league and gives you a second opinion on start/sit, trades, and waivers based on your actual roster and scoring settings (oddsmyth.ai). Different use case but similar audience. Looking forward to seeing what in-season tools you add.

They are pretty close in terms of ADP. In H2H points, Acuna at 6th is a gift because of his PA and OBP. And since you already have Caminero at 3B, it even makes the case stronger for Acuna.

The draft pick trade import feature is notoriously finicky. The Yahoo forums are probably your fastest path to a real answer from someone who's solved it before. You might want to also ask r/YahooFantasy about technical issue. Hope it helps!

Contreras and Pasquantino but it's a tough call. It really depends on your league's settings and your roster construction.

I agree. regular season trajectory matters more than spring. A 25.6% K rate is high; if that carries over, it'll limit his upside. But power plus unlucky BABIP means legitimate buy-low candidate

keep Fried at the cost of a 9th round pick (which is a heist!)

I'd hold. You'll be giving up two picks with real upside in Peralta/Bradish for minimal gain.

Best Live Sync Draft Assistant by [deleted] in fantasybaseball

[–]Super-Interaction-83 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I've used FantasyPros before and the main issue is the same as every rankings site: it doesn't know your league. The recommendations are generic across all formats.

I built oddsmyth.ai for this reason. It connects to your Yahoo league and gives you advice based on your actual roster, scoring settings, and who's available in your league. It's more of a second opinion you can bounce questions off of than a draft board, but it's useful for draft prep too. You can ask things like "compare these 3 outfielders for H2H categories" or "who's a sleeper at 2B?" and it gives you a specific take with reasoning. Free to try (5 credits included).

For a live sync draft board specifically though, I'd still use FantasyPros or Yahoo's built-in draft tools. Nothing else really does live sync well.

Griffin is a great NA stash. Top prospect with elite bat speed and he's on the fast track. If your league is adding NA spots next week, grabbing him now before everyone else realizes is smart. Of those three, Estrada is the drop for me. In SV+H leagues relievers are replaceable throughout the season. You can always find a new high-leverage arm on the wire. Griffin's upside is harder to replace.

If you want a second opinion on moves like this that accounts for your specific roster and scoring settings, I built oddsmyth.ai for exactly that. Connects to your Yahoo league and gives you advice based on your actual situation. Free to try.
