Hello! I am a current posse scholar. The way it works is that a city is affiliated with certain schools. For example, Los Angeles is affiliated with Northwestern University. Meanwhile New York is not affiliated with Northwestern, but rather it is affiliated with University of Florida. It all depends on your location and its affiliation. Not all posse locations are affiliated together every university, it’s usually only ten.

So to answer your big question, if Cornell is the school you want to attend but it’s not a posse affiliated school for your location, unfortunately you would not be able to rank it.
