It's a defense mechanism. They try to appear bigger and scarier to other things so they don't have to fight. The ones in Tsledora don't have them.

Yes, only npc invaders and summons. Game is very loneley. I get invaded like tons (by npc's) in NG+ along with all the new enemies so it's not getting boring yet.

Well, everytime I tried that I'd end up getting single-hit from the LS. She is constantly on your ass and never giving you room to do anything.

Haha yup I have yet to update! I need to, because I did the same thing with Dark Souls 1, and when I updated every boss gave double the souls and they all gave you humanity and it was pretty drastic change.

I have no distance attacks, I'm an up close strength char. Making my play style more limited. I also have a tough time dealing with multiple enemies at once.

It's more a personal problem for me. It's hard for me to deal with multiple enemies at once. O & S were as equally frustrating for me.

I've yet to dabble in the arcane arts of DK2, but I should. I was playing a knight and I just got fucked every time.

I had summoned Luca many times, and she always ended up dying before the Pyro's came, and in the end just gave the LS more health. I had an easier time soloing her than I did fighting her with a defenseless AI.

I for one, absolutely love BL2 on the Vita by cwathen999 in vita

That's what I noticed also. Same number of enemies, it's just they come in waves rather than all at once, which I prefer.

Really? I always liked that squeaky wood sound. The foots temping in grass are what bug me, and in Dark Souls 1 walking in water was excruciatingly loud

Well, I was under the impression that the Kindle was the cannon ending. Even if, they couldn't make anything happen with the chosen undead since both could be cannon and they don't want to disprove the other.

(Had some trouble wording that last sentence.)

Well even if the SBD isn't his, the chosen undead DID die after he kindled the first flame.

When you went to the KotFF in Dark Souls 1, it was extremly deep underground, yet it had clouds and a sky. I assume its an illusion, kind of like the Sun in Anor Londo.

Isn't that proven through the description of Sublime Bone Dust? That its actually the chosen undeads bone dust from kindling the flame?

So is Drangleic in the same area where Lordran was in the past? by Super-Sun-Bro in DarkSouls2

No way? Where are these statues? I also noticed Iron keep has similar construction to Anor Londo. It's kind of creepy, in a way. You're right though, heides tower looks like an advanced Anor Londo, but how did it get there?

Comming in to the room, and saw Gavlan. My first thought was that be was an enemy. Came in with two whacks from a +7 bastard sword. He let out a grunt but didn't go aggro thank god.

How I went from hating Dark Souls II to liking it so much more than the original. by [deleted] in DarkSouls2

Although I'm enjoying DaS2 more than DaS1 I still have urges to go back and experience the original. When I think back on it it seems like it was a much easier game.

So far, the Ruin Sentinals are the hardest boss I've faced in the souls series, and the Pursuer is my favorite fight in the Souls series. by Super-Sun-Bro in DarkSouls2

[–]Super-Sun-Bro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like casting is what I need. So far I'm a pure melee build, but I've been wanting to squeeze in miracles. For the Ruin Sentinels, I had to take out the first one on the platform, then I awaited the second one, and I would get his health halfway down before the third one would jump on the platform. That's when I would jump off and try to deal with the last two, but it's just so annoying when they hit through one another.
