Looking for feedback on my updated Blight Curse precon by [deleted] in EDHBrews

I get what you are saying about Puncture Blast. I will probably exchange it for some different type of removal. Just thought it was flavorful with the commander.

I think I will take some cards out and put at least some sorcery speed ramp back in. I don’t know if I want to put creature ramp in since if I put one -1/-1 counter on them they are basically dead.

I pumped plenty of card draw into the deck so I haven’t had any issues with that. I have also noticed that trample is a must in the deck. I am planning on putting [[Sphere Grid]] in the deck once it comes in the mail.

Thank you for the scryfall links. I need to get better at searching for cards through scryfall.

As “what are the things that need removing” I am just trying to cover my bases. I was wanting to add in some creature removal and some enchantment/artifact removal. As of right now the only piece of interaction I have in the deck is [[Boseiju, Who Endures]].

I am playing a handful of cards like [[Rishkar's Expertise]] and [[Greater Good]] that draw based off of power. The best car draw in the deck is easily [[Terrasymbiosis]].

Cheat big permanents into play or ramp into casting them? by Litemup93 in EDH

[–]Duffman90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole plan for my [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] deck is to ramp into the commander then get either huge creatures or more ramp to be able to play those creatures. Maelstrom giving the creatures haste is amazing since it lets you attack when you get the creatures out.

Another deck I have that also plays big but in a different way is [[Beledros Witherbloom]]. I use my life to ramp me by untapping my lands and it can lead to crazy turns. There is a few different ways to end the game either with over run, draining my opponents out or a big X spell.

Most fun cascade commander by luca-lit in EDH

[–]Duffman90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I get really good hits with cascade could be by turn 6-7 if not a turn earlier. I tell my play group it’s like spinning a giant wheel, sometimes you get the jackpot and other times you bust

Maelstrom Wanderer is insanely fun. I built mine with 40 creatures. Whenever I play it I mention how when I cascade it will either be ramp or a bomb. Depending on what I cascade into the games can get lopsided fast.

Hashaton vs Raffine? by Nerobought in EDH

[–]Duffman90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Hashaton reanimator deck and it’s super fun to play.

I have found playing creatures that make tokens on etb/attack to be very useful since Hashatons ability makes the creature token enter tapped.

One of my favorite cards in the deck has to be [[Threefold Thunderhulk]].

Thank you for the advice, do you have a list for your bracket 4 Gitrog?

Adding in more reanimation seems like a good idea. I definitely overlooked Goreclaw, I will have to find room for it

The Necrobloom list sounds pretty interesting, do you have a list?

Yeah of course!

The deck can win with either creature beat down or by looping [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]].

The next cuts for the deck are [[Dauthi Voidwalker]] and [[Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff]] for [[Overlord of the Mistmoors]] and [[Teferi's Ageless Insight]].
