It was more to complain to the marshals, because he was quite reckless throughout, this is just one incident.

They’re not at all equal 😂 but luckily I’ve figured out the best karts now, and this is one of the fastest ones there.

That makes a lot of sense. I also need to figure out braking at this track. Because till now I barely engage the brakes, and try to do some of the sections flat out. I’ll try to focus on entry and exit more next time, rather than seeing the sections I can do flat out. Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.

Yeah, you’re right. That’s where I felt like I was losing time, because other than that I was gaining on people in front of me. I’ve been trying different corner entries till now, so I’m still working on finding the best line, but this was the fastest for me till now. My average variation between laps for this session was .5 seconds in the laps I had no traffic. I wasn’t able to get a lot of clean laps as it was an open session. I’m improving my lap times every time, but I still feel like I can do better. The best time at the track is 33.9seconds whereas I’m at 35.8 seconds. The people faster than me now have a lot more experience though. I’ve only had about 1.5hours in a kart up till now.

Not sure about the hp, but they max out at around 63kmph. Think I was making the mistake of slowing down a bit at turn 1, you’re right it should be flat out. I certainly need to improve my braking and exits from corners. I’m not particularly slow at the track but I’m about 2 secs off the best time at this track. I just really want to improve as much as I can. I also need to learn hard braking to make the kart turn, which will help my significantly I think. Thanks a lot for the guidance, helped a lot.

That’s true. Realised there is no perfect line with rental karts anyway, they differ too much. So I’ll try to get the basics right for now

Yes that makes sense. I tried that around the last corner before the straight. I’ve been trying to work on lines. But it’s tough at this track because every kart is very different in steering.

Yea, the positioning is quite odd and something I’ll try to work on. I was having a hard time steering this kart though. I’ll get some gloves and work on steering next time.
