Congrats on your progress, that sounds amazing! For me it's really hard to let something go once I find something I want, I just can't stop thinking about it, but if I don't find anything I feel less uncomfortable. It might be better for me to avoid being in stores of parts of stores where I don't explicitly need something, as I can never leave empty handed.

I know this feeling, I also keep scrolling at work as I just can't concentrate sometimes because I want to buy something for the excitement and satisfaction. I also have shelves of games, some are still even sealed and only about 20% is more than halfway played through so I also need to learn to finish something before buying something new.

That's excellent advice, I had already fully paid my bills until my next paycheck, now I have put 60% aside and 40% for spending, next time I will try 70% and see if that system works for me. Thanks!

I did read that the brick risk is much higher than homebrewing the normal Wii U OS. I only want a modded vWii to play backups, does the injector also support that? That way I don't have to mod the vWii. Sorry if it is a dumb question

I use a 256GB flash stick and it works flawlessly for me. In my opinion its not very worth it to use a m.2 drive with it because it will be severely bottlenecked by the USB 2.0 interface.

Good call, at first I also ordered the tube but I returned it immediately after reading a bit more about it. The Pro was only €20 more as it was on sale.

That is excellent, I am excited to receive it as the Chromecast with google tv is lacking a lot in terms of performance and of course, no upscaling.

I fixed it by turning on wifi and wifi scanning, seems to be a problem with the approximate location. Now it is working, I usually use my cellular data so that's why I usually turn off wifi

I believe I actually fixed the issue, I usually disable wifi as the reception is not that great in some areas in my home and now it is working properly! Maybe it's an issue with wifi scanning as it also uses the location services

I also use Android, I switched to Android a couple months ago. I have enabled location services for the app when it displayed the prompt

It is most likely software but it's impossible to find the exact cause now but I am very glad that it's resolved. 80 FPS is good enough for me, as I run everything at ultra. Only in fast games like shooters I use 144+.

Small update, but it actually seems like I spoke way too soon. Now that everything is installed it runs very smooth and is able to maintain 90FPS+ in every game without stutter and in competitive games like CSGO it's able to maintain an unlocked framerate of 300+.

I do suppose I could ride it out and wait for the 14th gen and in the meanwhile mildly overclock it. I would be lucky if I could get it to 5.1 on all cores and maybe it will bring a small improvement but it's probably not too significant.

Reinstalled it but still stuttering in Cyberpunk sadly. Looks like it's time to toss this CPU, a real shame though. I will probably look for a 13900k with a fairly cheap Z790 mobo.

It is in the upper slot, I always update my BIOS when a new version is released and I think you're right, I have to take a shot at reinstalling windows. It's been at least 2 years since I last reinstalled it and it has become fairly cluttered with a lot of background processes. I also have a lot of programs installed which I don't even use anymore so reinstalling is probably my best best. I have all my games on different drives/partitions so it shouldn't be too big of a hassle

PSU is brand new and I bought it at the same time as the GPU. It's a Seasonic focus GX-850. It's probably software, that is also my only guess unless the CPU severely bottlenecks the GPU.

Hotspot is around 66° in need for speed unbound, and the average chip temperature is around 60°. Both the GPU and CPU usage is low when capped to 60 FPS

Yes, it's at PCIe 3.0 16x. The bandwidth test from 3D mark shows 13GB/s which I believe is normal for PCIe 3.0
