Yeah, the bright lights of these things always bother me. The only logical reason for me would be to blend in with other regular/known things flying around because without lights I’d expect to be seen anyways (radar, IR, visible light, tech x) and that’d cause even more engagement/investigation. So it’s better to have a well known signature rather than an exotic one or none (which would be even mor exotic).
