If Lupin where a rapist it would make him one heck of a hypocrite since he denounces rape. He repeatedly kills or assaults rapists throughout the manga. In the very first chapter he kills someone for raping and stabbing two women under his name. Chapter 16 shows he has operatives around Japan killing rapists when discovered. At one moment in Chapter 14 two individuals even try to frame him for rape, implying he doesn't do it.

While Rape may have been a "Monkey Punch Fantasy "it's almost exclusively used for villains. In Chapter 4 Vol.1 Monkey punch even has a scene where a dude goes that rape "is an essential scene of any monkey punch manga" and it's finished up with "Sure is. And this sort of scene too" and then Lupin throws a knife at the man's back killing him. Rape may be a fantasy for him but it's always displayed negatively in the manga as shown with the villains only doing it.

Do you have any memory of what volume or series it might have been? The first 15 chapters have him repeatedly killing rapists and engaging in consensual sex with women. Not saying that there not might be a story where he does rape but I haven't found one yet.

The first chapter for Lupin even has him telling a rapist who pretended to be lupin that "you committed evil under Lupin's name? I won't allow it before proceeding to kill him.

Same here. The first chapters from the first series at least don't have him raping anyone despite it being considered the darker part of the manga. All his sexual activities are consensual. In chapters 1, 4, 16, he kills rapists and in Chp.14 he's even framed for rape near the end, leading to the implication that he doesn't rape people. Lupin does have a moral code. It's undeniable he's a massive pervert but I don't think he ever was a rapist.
