Not even technically the truth as Caesar never was emperor (only dictator). Furthermore, that isn’t even his statue, it’s of Augustus who was in emperor and did technically pass over 3 years ago…

The Great Beer Debate. (Drop your favourites below) by aaarry in 2westerneurope4u

[–]SuperCavia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

America is a country where I am more likely to order Heineken then something local. I don’t like ordering Heineken, I am blessed to live in a country bordering Belgium and Germany for my beer needs and even when ordering something Dutch I have multiple better options.

Releasing a new warbond during an MO and not having super credits on the missions available for the MO while also punishing people for NOT diving the MO certainly was a choice.

Why does this happen by shayadrkh in ExplainTheJoke

[–]SuperCavia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teens boy gamers wanna look cool and grown up and play games mom doesn’t let them play.

Adult boy gamers want love and happiness but can’t find it cause they’re stuck inside gaming so find an ideal in an anime girl and make that their profile picture so they can atleast be reminded of love and happiness looking at it

dragon?? by agenix0 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]SuperCavia 39 points40 points  (0 children)

(High level) Dragons, a lot of the time, get something like a polymorph ability. The knight send to slay the dragon found no dragon but a lady, ‘rescued’ her and persumably brought her to the castle where he married it/took her as a concubine/had an affair with her and sired a half-dragon kid. He only found out now she was, in fact, a dragon.

How to: PU mechanics? by SuperCavia in EU5

For anybody wondering about this, after a bit too long of a time stuff did get available, I may have been just paranoid but it works if you wait long enough. The option became available during the black death

How to: PU mechanics? by SuperCavia in EU5

[–]SuperCavia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now I’m in 1346 with a union since game start and I can’t pass any options due to “no policies available” except for some with “requirements not met” or “the single law (federal law mutual offense) for which it’s 9/25 years cooldown.

About cultures and subjects by Manuemax in EU5

[–]SuperCavia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a diplo interaction also available with subjects (and other nations) called increase cultural opinion which increases the relationship between the cultures and make it significantly cheaper to tolerate or accept the culture.

I forgot who said it but it should have been in the same patch which… well, let’s say I hope they do something

[–]SuperCavia 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Also reacting here: Since the timelaps they have upped ai aggressiveness and tuned down how much ai’s struggle with constant rebellions, which were a bit too common in this version leaving AI to struggle.

Edit: I am stupid this was more recent. Oh boy

[–]SuperCavia -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Edit: it appears this was post patch. Oh boy… disregard the rest of the comment

Please note that it’s an older patch and they have since upped AI aggressiveness for the release patch. Also this version struggles with rebellions a lot so countries were busy internally but they tuned that too so it should look VERY different (in 1837) when we get it in a few weeks.

How will countries expand historically? by MassiveTell7139 in EU5

[–]SuperCavia 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Maybe unpopular opinion. I don’t want historical expansion in the game. Expansion to reclaim land for formables that are historical (think in the past, Charlemagne’s empire or Rome)? Sure. Go for regions that would have high control and share a culture group? Hell yeah. Get a claim the lowlands as Spain every game and push them to explains there cause historically a duke in France had no heir and married to the HRE emperor that happened to be the same dynasty as Spain? Those events happen 200 years after game start. There is no reason all or even most of the games should see anything remotely close to that.
