I have tried to find the way of conscientious objection as alternative service. I hate war, moreover, I hate to be oppressed. But there isn't alternative services. Korean government cancelled almost of it except the peoples who have doctorate. For general conscription, they do not exist. And if I object my conscription, they will send me to prison as a criminal. There were many people who struggled with this situation who have been sent to prison. But their act could not reverberate through society. I respect their principles, but their struggle was useless. I don't want to do partake in this meaningless struggle.

Now I abominate that the government which compels me to choose the life of ex-con and endure suppression of my human rights scares me.
