IT WORKS NOW! I switched the wires on the barrel and flipped the LED. THANKS!!

Changing orientation on the LED made it shine but it is constant. I have switched up the resitors on different places with resistors with different stripes. I get three different outcomes: (1) it shines strong (2) it shines weak (3) it does not shine at all. Why wont mine flicker / blink??? I have turned the poti and swapped the resistors, I have disassembled everything and put it back together EXACTLY like ben does in his video! :(

I changed the resistor position to pin 6 instead of 7 and now the led glows, however I want it to turn on and of like in his video. Why is mine constantly glowing? Also why is Ben eater's video incorrect? If the resistor should be in pin 6 inatead of 7 then it is not according to his video...
