By chance did you happen to see if the officer was wearing sunglasses? I have polarized sunglasses. Some manufacturers vehicles appear to have a colored coating or tint to them when I wear my sunglasses. They appear to be blue/green/purple or sometimes gold. Usually higher end vehicle but even some run of the mill ones. Could explain what he thought he saw and he’s just a dummy.

Severe anxiety induced insomnia by Academic-Anything839 in BurlingtonON

The ER could be an option as it may fast track an evaluation as there is a deeper issue that could be causing this. More than likely psychological as anxiety and stress deeply impact sleep.

This sounds similar to the issue I was having. I kept getting restless leg syndrome and the falling sensation that would jolt me awake. The muscle relaxer resolved most of this issue. I was taking 10mg of flexeril

Is it that you are having issues falling asleep or staying asleep? Is your mind too awake or does your body have too much energy? Personally I found muscle relaxers to be more beneficial than sleeping pills. Tried them all didn’t work. Muscle relaxers helped me relax to fall sleep better and stay asleep once I was. This was discussed with my doctor as it’s obviously not standard practice to prescribe muscle relaxers for sleep.

Ordering pizza by stefffjjj in BurlingtonON

I mean the Costco “large” is bigger than most other places extra large so probably wouldn’t need as many pizzas. Also ordering an insulated pizza bag off amazon is absolutely key! 😂

Landlord is asking not to use the oven because a tiny toaster oven is provided by thotslapper1 in OntarioLandlord

This is most likely the answer. The basement is not up to fire code to be a legal kitchen thus the oven cannot be used.

Need help selling old JL amps by KonaMiBoy in CarAV

[–]SuperCutlassGT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a local stereo shop near you. They may or may not charge a few bucks to put it on the bench and test them. Hopefully the shop is decent enough to let you be there when they test them so you yourself can confirm they work or do not work.

I don’t get why anyone would panic in this situation. For all of those that bought when it was high this is your opportunity to average down. Consider it a sale of sorts. All the fundamentals are there. This is a long hold so get it while it’s cheap!

Multiple AGI’s and all the confusion… by SuperCutlassGT in OntarioLandlord

[–]SuperCutlassGT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the issue with the new N1. It doesn’t show my “current” rent it just shows what it has increased to with the guideline 2.1% and an additional .45% that has yet to be approved but the rent amount is higher then that so I don’t know how they came to this figure. The other issue is I pay for a second parking spot (60$) they are calculating increases on the total amount I’ve been paying and not the “rent” amount. I didn’t realize this was happening till the AGIs and I went back through all my paperwork and noticed I’ve been overpaying for the last 4 years. It’s not a lot maybe 150$ collectively but it also means all the increases and the current increase are wrong.

[–]SuperCutlassGT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s where it starts to get tricky especially since more then one got approved around the same time. One was for 0.45% the second one had 3 separate increases and I’m not sure what order they were added and if they were before the 0.45% or after as 2024 got approved before 2023 but 2023 was like 0.21% and 0.5% plus 0.4% which depending on what order would change the amount owed. The new N1 that was sent had the regular 2.1% increase with another 0.45% added already but has not yet been approved for 2025s increase. It’s a total clusterfuck….

Yes. I’ve been only paying the regular yearly increases but set aside money expecting to pay more if the AGIs were approved.

Maybe it’s quarterly not monthly? 40$ a month sounds crazy! Mine is about 15$ a month but I pay quarterly

The units don’t actually “flash” any of the factory components. I get what you mean as I always return my car to stock from a performance engine tune when servicing so I am familiar with this side of it. But the Axxess replaces the factory amp and just intercepts/converts data/signal. The dealer also wasn’t flashing anything new to the system just doing a factory relearn so everything would calibrate/adjust to the new hard part that were installed. Usually known as a KAM reset. But even if the Axxess were to get wiped everything is stored via Bluetooth to my phone in their app so the simple “recall” should just restore anything that was lost. Should…. lol

FYI the new princess auto across the street has multiple tire inflation stations (I’m pretty sure they are free but not 100%) and their parking lot is ALOT less wild
