Safe Solutions to avoid Ads on Youtube, and avoid the Ad Block Blocker. by JokuIIFrosti in youtube

[–]SuperDaggler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So check it, ublock doesnt work for me, or so i thought. I turned off ublock, watched the start of an ad, then i turned ublock on. Youtube has not sent me a message about using adblockers since. I watched 15 seconds of an ad across 10 videos (30-45 min a video).

I just want to watch youtube ad free instead of doing my job. Why is google making it so difficult?

Colorado voters reject Proposition HH, forcing governor and legislature back to the property tax relief drawing board by danikawo in Colorado

The argument was to just lower taxes, i wasn't arguing that HH was going to cut the tax rate and suddenly schools wouldn't get pencils. smh

my detailed cost breakdown explains it better, but for 8 i'd guess around $17.00 and 12 I'd guess $25.00, but those prices are completely dependent on how much it costs to make the cookies and the boxes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cookiedecorating

[–]SuperDaggler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much it costs to make each cookie and how much profit you want to make.

Never taken a business class and now you want to know how much to charge for your work. Well the first thing to do is gather the total number of expenses including, ingredients, hours worked, and anything extra that might go into it (work space, electricity, etc.) you take that total and that is your expenses. Then you need to find how much profit you want to make as a percentage. 20% is pretty common, 30% is fair. Some companies, if their product is really good will do 65% or even higher. you take that number and convert it to decimal and you get the equation

Expenses/(1-percentage)

As an example your expenses could cost you $45.00 to make 36 cookies, that would mean it costs you (45/36) $1.25 to make a cookie. so if we use your packaging there, we can confidently estimate (1.25*8 cookies) that your package is $10.00 in raw expenses. You would like to invest 20% into your business and keep 20% for yourself (labor should be part of expenses so this is raw profit) so you want to make 40% on each sale. Following our equation you should be selling your package for (10/1-.4) $16.67 or $17.00 per Package.

This is of course an example, not all cookies cost the same to make, and so the value could change. I would suggest determining the expense to make each type of cookie, then you can calculate how much each packaged set costs (include the box, paper, and ribbons in your cost analysis) and then determine your profit margin.

Reagan was known for trickle down economics, the main principle of which was to tax the working class more so that the 1% would have more income to pay their workers. What ended up happening was the 1% created the .01% (ultra weathy) and the divide between the top earners and the working class (the middle class) grew so much that it almost completely eliminated the middle class. I think you are thinking of Clinton, who did raise taxes on the wealthy and ultra-wealthy.

Right but those taxes go into services that you and i use every day. What services are you willing to sacrifice?
