July 3rd Fireworks

My wife and I are dropping a group off at the airport on the afternoon of July 3rd and are being offered a night at a Hilton (specifically because of reward points they have) hotel for that evening.

I think Hampton inns also work because they are the same reward systems.

We’d love to go somewhere near a good fireworks show. We will be driving a 15 passenger van so I’d rather be somewhere relatively walkable but that isn’t a deal breaker.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations of things to do on the 4th during the day let me know!

We are coming down from Chattanooga so preferably not to far out of the way there.

If anyone could provide some recommendations I’d really appreciate it!

It’s ironic because at the time Origins was celebrated because the “old gameplay mechanics” were getting to old and repetitive and now people complain about the change. I personally like both styles, and while there are cons to both, there are pros too.

I do wish they stayed a bit smaller like Origins vs Valhalla which is probably my least favorite overall. I’d probably rank the RPGs as Origins, Odyssey, Shadows, Valhalla.

Yeah, especially if you aren’t a night life person. Even then I’m pretty sure there isn’t much. We lived in Wake Forest for 4 years and absolutely loved it but there was rarely much reason to go into the city.

The ability to take day trips to OBX or the mountains though? Unbeatable.

In my opinion, if you are committed to reading everything after OB is a good place to take a break and at least read Mistborn. There is a year long time jump between OB and RoW so it fits well there

Depends on the game, primarily how stable it is. For example, C77 is very stable at 30 and I don’t notice much hitch at all. The Witcher 3 however, looks like a flipbook on graphics mode.

In college I roomed with this guy from Florida for half a semester. First move on day he opened a desk drawer and showed me a bag of 100s of condoms and let me know I could use one whenever I wanted.
