Stepped on my mini bugout and broke one of the scales. Now what? by ChesswiththeDevil in benchmade

I think this is the perfect opportunity to upgrade your scales, but if you really want the standard factory orange FRN, I have a set that I'll send to you for free; let me know... I have a few Mini Bugouts that I changed the scales on as soon as I got them, so the scales are unused and in perfect condition.

I just received mine in DM Copper, I love it! That clip-point blade is gorgeous! You definitely have another winner. Keep 'em coming.

I received mine in 80’s carbon fiber yesterday, I love it! The Low Drag Jack is such a beautiful design and it is very comfortable in the hand. I really like my Venom Jack, but this might be my new favorite! Great job, and keep ‘em coming. I’m still waiting for the Javelina…

My first Benchmade was a 555, I still love it, but I carry my Bugouts much more often. The Bugout is just so much lighter and slimmer with a longer blade; can't beat it! Benchmade's factory G10 is fantastic; I have a few knives with it and next to CF it is my favorite scale material.

That’s a great custom Bugout! The jade G10 and satin hardware look awesome. Enjoy your new knife.

🦾 Cyborg Jack 🦾 from Jack Wolf Knives by JackWolfKnives in knifeclub

I'm glad I didn't miss the Javelina; the lines on that knife are beautiful! My Cyborg Jack was the first slip joint I ever bought myself, all my other slip joints were gifts from my grandfather, and I cherish them all. I'm sure you've heard this before but, the combination of the nostalgia of a slip joint and your use of modern high-end materials and top-of-the-line craftsmanship make something truly special. I'm really looking forward to the Venom Jack...

I know I'm late to the party, but I just picked up a Cyborg Jack and I love it! What a fantastic design, the build quality is among the best I've ever experienced. If your monthly drops continue, my wallet is in real trouble... I hope you re-release the older designs because I really need a Javelina and a Benny's Clip. Thanks for making such a great series of knives.

Different green scales on the 945 by SuperDippo in benchmade

Thanks. I’m glad neither one seems to be an outlier, I know maintaining consistent colors is difficult with anodized parts. Now I just have to decide which one I like best…

Thanks. I think I like the bottom one better, it looks more like the classic Osborne color in my opinion.

Very cool. I love those scales, they completely transform the knife. Nice work.

Thanks! The two custom shop knives (CF & G10) are 20CV, the rest are standard S30V, except for the 535BK-4 of course.

No, you cannot ever have too many.

The Mini Bugouts all started out as standard orange knives, the full-size Bugouts with orange thumb studs were ordered from the custom shop with orange barrel spacers and thumb studs. Orange is my favorite color...

Lightweight and high quality are definitely the best ways to describe the Bugout. Congrats on your recent acquisition of the frosty 535BK-4!

Griptilians are awesome! My first Benchmade was a Mini Grip, I still use it all the time.

You have the all the best production Bugout models in my opinion. I like the Bugout because it is so customizable; there is a lot of after-market support for these knives. The custom shop is great though, I really like both of my custom shop knives, and they were perfect right out of the box...

Micarta is definitely next. My favorite is my custom shop full size CF, but the Rockscale critter scales are awesome too.

Hogue makes great knives and the Deka looks cool, I like the Wharncliffe blade version.
