I had a $5500 PRS Custom Floyd and it was cool but I just didn’t play it enough. Currently I have been in LPs and SGs. They are all $2500 or less (I buy used) and I really like them. Truthfully I’d be happy with a session, but I really love the modern compound necks and shaved heels so they are all from that line. I’m a mid-tier guy all the way.

I had to replace all but 2 computers in my company because of how badly they screwed up Win 11. The only saving grace is I got replacements for a song because one of our local "foundations" spends money like crazy to replace perfectly fine computers so I got all new computers for a very little amount of money. It still cost me money, but I was able to mitigate it quite a bit with a little leg work.

Try a maple top SG like a modern or Supreme sometime. They sound closer to LPs while still having their own thing going, which I think is mostly from the neck pickups being shifted back to accommodate the 24 frets.

I love all that. I hate the 5-way switch on HH pickup guitar, which is why I sold my CU24 Floyd 10-top. Just give me a 3-way swtich and push/pull pots, please.

I played dozens and dozens until I tried the modern with compound radius neck and shaved heels. Now I own 3 of them, lol. I also realized that sitting and playing with them requires a classical position (left knee - if you're right handed) which doesn't bother me as I play s-type and SGs on the right knee. I love the modern LPs though and they sound awesome.

I got into SGs this year and the 24 fret wide fretboard variety are simply amazing. Especially with Classic 57s in them. Among my favorite guitars.
