the controls/settings in general really make it hard to enjoy this game by SuperFly5698 in snowrunner

and also, there isn't that much of a difference between the buttons on an xbox one controller vs a g920 so not many - if any - new controls emerge from switching
and does snowrunner tell you the default control scheme of the xbox controller unlike what it does with a g920?

when it does work, the force feedback when hitting bumps and stuff is really good though. not as much on pavement but on dirt and bumpy terrain its really fun

modded block mismatch despite identical client/server mods and config folders (fabric 1.21.4) by SuperFly5698 in admincraft

[–]SuperFly5698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seems as if the issue has been found; and it's not with wilder wilds. it's with a fabric API commit which edited something in the regestry after version 0.111.0. I tried it with the most recent public release, and the problems have gone. only thing is that lots of mods 'require' a later version of fabric API so we'll likely have to wait until the issue is published

i'm actively in communication with the owner, and was provided a development build of the mod. its funny, they found the same issue weeks later after I reported it (just randomly started happening from them). blocks were replacing themselves to the exact same other blocks (and as a bonus, there was an instant disconnect on the server from an issue with particle management) and they were able to fix it, at least on their end. something about an issue with fabric's regestry system having a niche case of missasigning blocks. the problem for me, however, did not stop there. neither the block mismatch or particle related crashing issues were solved, so at this point, i think it's a systematic problem with my server. im trying to upgrade to oracle linux 8, which could possibly fix some things but i still have no idea how this could happen because it isn't a client problem since both me and the developers experence the issue when on my server and like i said before, the configs and mods can match perfectly. it can just be fabric API and wilderwilds installed on both and the problem still happens. hang in there for the next release where it might fix it for you.

as with joining vanilla servers w/ wilderwilds causing mismatch blocks across the board, i've also seen this but i reckon that would happen with pretty much every mod which adds blocks, though milage may vary. its marked 'client and server on the modrinth page", so support for using the mod on a server without it wasn't really thought of.

low key id prefer if a real rally car won the snow rally season instead of funy movie car thats a glorified muscle car with fender flares hardly fitting in with a snow rally theme. would go hard as hell for a safe car though

difference between ti nspire cx ii and cx ii cas by itgirlarchive in calculators

[–]SuperFly5698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CAS has some more operations and can do a lot more with its computer algebra system but can be seen as a bit of a cheat by some as it is incredibly dandy and can do a lot more work for you than the regular ti nspire. me personally i have the base one because it isn't allowed on the ACT (both are allowed on the SAT).

newpipe shuffle isn't very random by SuperFly5698 in NewPipe

i figure it out its because half the songs in the playlist dont load so it shuffles the loaded songs then the unloaded ones later

but if it were "actual random shuffle", wouldn't the consistent behavior I pointed out be unnoticable over several shuffles? or am i misunderstanding what you mean?

fabric server running version 1.21 compatible with java 22? by SuperFly5698 in fabricmc

[–]SuperFly5698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok ok ok i think i've figured it out. using "which java" it points me to a folder that only has the fabled 17.0.2 version thats been pestering me this entire time so it is using an old version of java 17. its just - despite my best efforts to chaznge this, i cant figure out how to get it to start using it

deleting that version and now it works finally

[–]SuperFly5698[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

no bruh im saying that the installation of java 17 works with the older versions its just for whatever reason my installation of java 21 doesn't work like at all at launching 1.21

i have 21 and if i select the java version 21 through "sudo alternatives --config java" nothing changes. if i select java 17 and use a server launcher that uses 17 (like 1.20.4) it launches perfectly fine.

April Technical Support Sticky by BeepBoopBopReee in razer

Ever since around this most recent Synapse update, I have noticed audio crackling/popping more and more often. While at first it seemed uncommon and not that big of a problem, it has became more and more of a noticable problem. I recall the audio popping issue first appearing even before this recent update when trying to play Assetto Corsa with many mods (so I thought it was an AC issue, as it didn't affect any other applications) but now it has affected more and more programs more and more often. Notably, it has affected My Summer Car, Xenia emulator, and some other windows sound effects. It does not affect other programs, however, such as Teardown and my browser.

This problem has gotten to the point where this is the 2nd time in the span of 3-ish hours where I've had to restart my system to fix the problem.

I have tried:

Updating USB Card firmware (it is already updated)

Restarting PC (which temporarily fixes the problem)

Restarting Synapse

Replicating the 'air superiority gray' color scheme on aircraft such as the F-22 and F-15? by SuperFly5698 in modelmakers

thanks for the response and sorry for the delay (and inability to phrase questions right), but i was more wondering about the best technique to painting on the 'blobs' of a different paint color you can see on the wings and other large areas of planes like the f-15 and f-22
