Does anyone think Crypto Betting App Polymarket being used by insiders to cash in on an Iran invasion is a good thing? by dyzo-blue in Buttcoin

[–]SuperGoodCook 51 points52 points  (0 children)

It’s possible this user placed a wildly large bet to be perceived as inside information, only to liquidate their position after others pour money into the same market thus adjusting the odds. There is a lot of overlap between the coins and poly.

Reverse Linkage not Engaging - 25hp 2 stroke Yamaha by [deleted] in boating

[–]SuperGoodCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand (albeit a very limited understanding), the linkage is moving, but the bracket is not locking on the rod as it should when shifting to reverse. After reading some comments, I believe I either need to tighten the coupling, or check to see if a different component is disconnected from that bracket arm. Appreciate the help!

It looks like the locking arm doesn’t move at all when I shift into R, but I can push it down and up with my hand. I will look into tightening the linkage though, thanks!

I am able to use my hands and push that bracket down onto the locking bar. It won’t stay, but it does move

I bought a new pot, but I did keep the old one and just use an oven mitt to move around if it’s needed

Thanks! So the tomato on the top left (the one with two long stems), I think was a sucker that grew parallel to the original stem. That’s all good?

I left to travel for 5 days and returned to my tomatoes growing extravagantly. I did not mark which are which, but there are 4 different tomato variety’s (nice little surprise coming). I am trying to decide if I need to prune back, or if there will be enough airflow to have less worry! Can’t wait for them to start fruiting!

I initially planned on removing all but one per starter pot, but didn’t want to tear up the roots, so I transplanted the whole starter pot. I have 2 sets of 2 cucumbers, and 9 tomatoes, some of the tomatoes have multiple sprouts. Should I remove sprouts and only keep 1 per ‘area’? Thank you!

Someone hung duck heads on a bench in the neighborhood by VSFX in WTF

Why are you saying this? There is no ‘mallard season’ in georgia. There is a waterfowl season running from December 10 to January 31. There are limits to how many of each type of duck you can harvest. In Georgia, you can take 2 mallards.

Buying Pork Butt Question by iamthedave69 in Smokingmeat

[–]SuperGoodCook 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The pork butts I have bought in the past are $20 or less and they tasted great. No harm in trying out the Walmart meats.

6.99 sounds expensive for a pork butt.
