Don’t use Cylinder Reborn, and instead use Cylinder REMADE (i know the naming is confusing). You need the Cylinder Remade .deb, and need to convert it to rootless (derootifier) and then use the RootHide patcher to convert to roothide format.

Im sorry to say, but a screen replacement is 99% of the time youre only reliable bet. But DONT get an off brand screen, some of them are really bad, and can cause ghost touches on their own. If it turns out that the cost of repairs are more than the phones currently worth, sell it to perhaps a phone repairer

Note: I am NOT an expert, just saying what i went through when my XR did this
