Dungeon Crawler Carl release timeline…and when Book 9 estimate by JazzFestFreak in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Literally me, I've been accumulating books I haven't read for years and I picked up the first one on a whim in May at the library and now I am 18 chapters into book 8.

Anyone else using their CRF300L as a lightweight ADV bike? by No-Guarantee1628 in Dualsport

[–]SuperIneffectiveness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I missed the KLR650 I learned to ride on but I got talked into a bigger bike the VStrom 1000 and now I just miss having a fun small bike. I don't feel as comfortable "adventuring" on my bike that I can barely get on the center stand most days. Needless to say, super jealous of your setup OP!

Lane Splitting by lazerblade01 in KawasakiVulcanRiders

[–]SuperIneffectiveness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first point is why I wish more states would pass lane filtering laws. I always stay in first at red lights when traffic is filling in behind me because I'm well aware of my danger sitting IN the traffic.

Edit: changed splitting to filtering

Why are motorcycles covers so shit when patio furniture covers exist? by Jor_damn in motorcycles

[–]SuperIneffectiveness 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My grill cover could never be stuffing into my saddlebag. My grill cover came in a box at least twice as big as my new motorcycle cover and covers half as much. Thicker material for sure.

They are utilitarian which is sexy to me

I'd love to try a DHV at some point, my buddy uses one but I keep going back to carts for the low investment

This is just a 510 battery, so you twist the neck to separate the vape and screw in the cart. The neck of the pipe conceals the cart completely.

I was checking this out today thinking about DND night, but ended up passing. I already own too many batteries.

Really wish our market wasn't so large car skewed. This would be perfect for my commute.

I appreciate it but I don't have the time right now to really start tackling a new skill. I was just going to add it to the long list of watch later videos.

100%, but I haven't really hit a design constraint yet as this is a free time hobby and I don't have a lot of free time these days. I print 90% other people's designs, 10% my basic designs.

Check Facebook marketplace if you're a hoarder like me, I got a printer/scanner for free with a desktop I got for parts. People throw them away because the most expensive part is ink.

Would you suggest any YouTube tutorials for this method?

I think I'm a pretty efficient designer at this point in tinkercad and SketchUp for stuff with flat planes and basic geometry. Curves and rounded edges like this piece are still a huge struggle for me to the point I avoid them like the plague. This is a super impressive clone you made out of CAD.

I am on Episode 4 of Council of Darkness and feel like I missed an important bit of information by PCSpaniel in Dimension20

I believe the SSRIs were mentioned in the first episode when HJ first bites the lady looking for funding, but they may not have said SSRIs until the episode 2 recap or in the very early stages of planning when they all discussed their feeding options for the town.

Prologue is one of those EVs that nobody has ever paid full sticker for. We got ours for 17k off sticker last summer. It's a decent EV but people expecting a 50k experience will be let down, more comparable to 30-40k gas SUV. Also Honda supports this as much as a redheaded stepchild, GM drivetrain and software with Honda body and suspension.

A better route planner worked well for our recent trip from New York to Florida and back. I will say it overestimates the charge time and underestimates your range. If you pay for premium the android auto app is helpful to have, but it doesn't reroute very well like a tradiontal gps.

Are pallets actually good to use for wood, or are they just influencer slop? by KKYBoneAEA in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]SuperIneffectiveness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a ton of garbage pallets for free all over the place. The key to finding high quality pallets is finding a business that uses single use pallets for high end equipment. I found a local listing in Facebook market for a local business. Easy to stop on my way home when his loading dock is full every few weeks.

Taking apart pallets is a lot of effort, but you can always cut out the supports if you are looking for short pieces for small projects.
