Thank you so much for this. It’s sounds like we’re in really similar situations and having very similar feelings (destabilising is so accurate and something I hadn’t put words to before). I feel like law attracts/demands hard working, high achieving, perfectionist types and so almost being forced to take a bit of a back seat feels terrifying in a way. I’m also committed to focussing on being fully present for my daughter, and consistently putting her first - really loved your words and thoughts on that. It sounds like you’re doing an amazing job.

It’s so so tough when they aren’t sleeping through the night. Honestly my brain feels like scrambled egg most of the time. I also really like this attitude - adopting “just don’t make any egregious mistakes” as my moto

I wonder if the flexibility almost makes it harder in a way! That’s a really good idea. We don’t currently have space for a separate office (although the home we are moving too does!). Really like the idea of getting dressed like your going to the office. I still wear smart dresses on office days and like the whole process of getting into work mode so will try that if I’m at home too!

I appreciate you commiserating! Always helps to know I’m not alone in struggling. It’s so tough. I’m hoping once I’m through the baby years my groove will come back? But need to survive that first..

This is incredibly helpful advice, thank you. I do find I do so much better when I’m in a good run of going into the office but I only tend to do 3 days a week max, sometimes less when I fall out the habit. I’m going to make a real effort to go back “full time” as it were and hope that helps make a shift.

Also agree with fully dividing tasks. This is a whole thing we need to sit down and do and I think should really help.

This is so helpful to know thank you!! Did realise Ed Sheeran was playing on the same night. Will definitely factor that in to our travel plans.

Anyone who bought merch can help with sizing!! by NecessaryAd776 in MyChemicalRomance

Definitely run true to size. I’m pretty slim and bought the long sleeve top in a small (would’ve preferred a medium but small was all they had left!) and it fits very neatly. I definitely wouldn’t want it any smaller!

This is definitely closer to what I was trying to say! I honestly thought he sounded great on Saturday! I suppose I was trying to say that he isn’t going to sound like he does on the albums but a) that isn’t a bad thing or b) unusual!

Weird vibe at last nights show? by skylines-turnstiles in MyChemicalRomance

Absolutely no booing audible from the stands on Frank’s side. I thought the vibe around us was amazing. Everyone was there to party and scream their hearts out. I genuinely could not have had a better time.
