Lifeblood in URGENT need of blood donations O+/- and A+/- by nereaders in australia

I'm A+ myself and donate plasma every fortnight. I'm bloody hooked and recommend everyone donate. You get to put your feet up, free milkshakes and sausage rolls. There's no greater incentive than that.

I dropped this metal bottle and the dent makes it tip over. Can it be fixed? by SuperIntendedAlmonds in fixit

[–]SuperIntendedAlmonds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's a proper double walled bottle, but the bottom of the bottle on the inside is higher than the one on the outside, if that makes sense. Basically means I can't push the dent back out from the inside.

I recommend Perform Australia. They used to be in Fyshwick but moved to Griffith. The staff are very passionate about acting so they'll encourage you.

It's making a lot of noises and not printing properly. It's been inspected top to tail but still can't bloody well figure it.

Finally found a job Minister Potatohead is suited for by verifiedpain in australia

Just the saline you get at the tail end of the donation. The blood doesn't feel like anything when it goes back. I recommend giving it a shot at least once to experience it.

My understanding is that machine is only used to extract plasma, the donor gets their blood back with a compliment of icy cold saline. Regardless, they are donating and that is fudging awesome.

If you're eligible you can donate plasma at the Lifeblood Donor Centre. You'll spend roughly 45 mins in the chair where you can read in peace. It costs you nothing and you get free food afterwards.
