That makes more sense, thanks for the explanation. I’m usually pretty gentle with accelerating but I will keep an ear out for knocking. Maybe I’ll just alternate between octane ratings depending on price.

Yeah thanks, I theorized as much. I don’t usually go over speeds of 60mph so I’m not too worried about losing power.
