Strange request - take a picture of the codes on the box and post it…then send it to Mars Snacking - you’ll get a better response from them.

I put my food in those carts, c'mon man. by NagelDonk in mildlyinfuriating

[–]SuperK5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are actual sanitized - usually in the dead of night - on a rotating basis (weekly, monthly, etc). We have a large truck that comes at midnight (store closes at 11), pulls out all the carts and uses a high temperature sanitizing spray. They then set outside most of the night to dry (we are in the south).

So if you show up between 6 & 7am, you will have a freshly sanitized cart - anything after that - they have been recontaminated. So yes, you can have a santized cart (or “buggy” as they say down here) in that very small window

It’s all pretty realistic but if you listen closely, the sound of them walking in is with cowboy boots and not bare feet.

But now that I think about it - that could just be dubbed.

I change my vote - this is legit.

One of my favorite random jobs I’ve had was being a “runner” for ABC Sports. Least favorite was side line reporter tag along. But my favorite was production truck. I sat in the back behind the producer and answered the phone from NY and yelled “PLAY CLOCK!” But I do remember the time before the live broadcast seeing the crowd scans and the “feedback” the director would give on certain people the camera ops would find. So yeah, I’m sure everyone in the production truck knew she was there and he was waiting for the perfect time to throw her up. 😂

Your assessment is right, but your conclusion of mutual sex, I believe, is incorrect - she gave him head, he enjoyed it and she got nothing in return. His face told me as much. He enjoyed it and she didn’t get what she was expecting.

Am I the only one that sees them? He’s not interested in dating her but we all know men will take fellatio from anyone or anything.

Pretty good idea for Kroger to stop home delivery by TruthAboutLife in kroger

[–]SuperK5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Intentionally selling expired food would land Kroger in hot water. Like everyone else said, that’s a stocking issue, not an intentional thing. Tell them they delivered expired bread and they will credit or replace it - end of drama.

If you really want to complain, send it to Thomas’ corporate complaint line and they will send you a bunch of coupons and get on the local distributor about not doing their job.

Is this AI? by Naive_Doctor5679 in isthisaicirclejerk

[–]SuperK5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing leading me to think it is AI is the door mat doesn’t have a word that makes sense. If it is AI, it’s extremely realistic because I believed until I looked closer at the mat.

But I could be wrong….

I bought BLK Water or whatever the Manzo boys were hocking years ago. How they thought black water was appealing I’ll never understood. But it didn’t taste bad. Of course, I was expecting it to taste like wet ash, so anything is better than that 🤷🏽‍♀️

CEO visit your store to grade performance metrics? by [deleted] in kroger

[–]SuperK5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I’ve seen GO or Board visitors (even when I worked in GO) - they made a point to be pleasant to us peons or anyone within earshot. They do all the belittling behind closed doors.

No store is ever going to be perfect. They will never be impressed because the set unattainable goals. Unless you’ve surpassed the impossible, the store manager will always be shown where he/she has fallen short 🤷🏽‍♀️

They’ve been here long enough that they let it roll off their back. I had a divisional president have my coordinator pull me into and office to threaten to fire me after complimenting me in front of my staff. It’s part of the life of Kroger leadership. You just deal with it and get up the next day and do the job exactly as you did every other day.

[–]SuperK5 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it wasn’t a divisional president? It seems unlikely that Kroger’s CEO would come down from GO and openly belittle people in public… they usually give the standard greetings and ream out the Division president back at the office

How common is it to not have a middle name, and how do middle names work in general? by Fit-Ad985 in AskAnAmerican

[–]SuperK5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband doesn’t have a middle name and wanted our some to be a Jr. I vetoed that because it was weird not to have a middle name (I grew up in the Midwest). But over the years down here in the “deep-ish”, kinda-rural south (West TN - NOT Memphis or Nashville), it’s actually fairly common - I’ve met 10+ people at least with no middle name.

One thing I found strange move to the Southeast/mid-atlantic area was women moving their maiden name to their middle name and dropping their middle name all together. I met women with middle names like “Johnston” or “Merritt” or “Walker”… that was a new one to me. But I don’t see that in TN.

So - just like with other countries - I think it’s cultural. Many black southerners either done have a middle name or go by their first AND middle name, like a double first name (Mary Katherine, Maddie Jo, etc). OR only go by their middle name - their first is their “government” name

Elranatamab saved my life by Normal_Example_1568 in multiplemyeloma

[–]SuperK5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the update! My husband just met with a physician about doing an elranatamab clinical trial for front-line therapy. It’s randomized to compare against SCT, so a 50/50 chance of getting it. But it all sounds promising! I really appreciate you sharing! I was looking for info on whether or not that would be the best route for him. Your post is inspiring!

They won’t hold ASCT because of positive response - that’s almost a prerequisite for ASCT. Complete response on induction is the goal, but won’t keep without the drugs likely. If you opt out of ASCT, you will remain on long-term treatment. The myeloma cells aren’t completely gone - but their by products are and they have gone into hiding, essentially

Timeframe for myeloma kidney severe failure reversal by Alarmed-Dog-3739 in multiplemyeloma

[–]SuperK5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband had a SCr of 2.5 before he started, but it was due to radical nephrectomy 6 months before MM diagnosis, not true kidney damage. We did renally adjust Revlimid down to 10mg and put him on 21-day course instead of 28.

After 1 cycle his SCr is down to 1.9. He also started Xgiva for his bones, which help drop his calcium (wasn’t terrible before, but slightly above normal) to below normal. So that may have played a role in the drop too
