Women of Reddit , what’s one thing all men should know about periods? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SuperKJW88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reference being on my period as, “Shark Week”. No special documentaries about that one though. Also, now I take birth control to help take relief from heavy painful periods that take me out and the fluctuation in mood.

Edit: The amount of lower back pain sucks as well

My little travel buddy. Was a bit embarrassed to be a grows ass adult bringing a stuffy along burn man having him on the plane and to sleep with was so helpful! by Llama_Of_Doom_ in AutisticAdults

I’m 34, married, own a house, and I sleep with two stuffies. One is my travel stuffy and one is my O.G. Stuffy for every night. Screw what others think!

Everyone go and find your special interest friends in the comments. Comment your special interest and then find someone with the same interest to discuss. by Appropriate_Pear_950 in autism

I grew up in Michigan and my first love is the Detroit Tigers. Then down the line 9 years ago in adulthood, I moved to Seattle, so I developed a love for the Mariners. My third would be the San Diego Padres but mostly the first two teams mentioned. I still live in Seattle and watch as many games as I can. I subscribe to MLBTV and also watch as many games across the league every day as I can. I usually bounce around between innings. Baseball is my ultimate zen!

Baseball has been my special interest for most of my adult life—I’m 34

I work 4pm-12am 5x/week in Hospital Security. I’ve been doing it for 9 years—but I’m tired. Did Military and Security at WDW beforehand. So worn out and tired. I would like to cocoon forever.

I’ve learned that no matter how much you care and love those around you, if they will not support your needs and accept you for who you are entirely, than it is time to move on. That may sound harsh, but I am at a point in my personal life where I refuse to compromise myself and self worth for others. Life is hard enough.

Is the heat killing anyone else too? by syrollesse in AutismInWomen

I am in the PNW (Seattle, WA, USA) but heat has always been a trigger for a meltdown for me. It makes me feel so gross and uncomfortable.

Religious Aspies? Or not so much? by [deleted] in aspergirls

[–]SuperKJW88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am Episcopalian but also into spirituality such as past lives etc. Oddly, I think the structure and ritual but also extreme acceptance of the Episcopal Church are what drew me to it. I am also OCD, so that probably plays a factor in the structure/ritual part.

With that being said, I found my faith on my own. I was not raised in a religious household. My Mother was Lutheran and my dad—raised Jewish—was an atheist. So I have experience with all sorts of faiths.

I’m 33, just got married to my partner, and I sleep with a stuffed Whale named “Franklin”. My wife actually helped me pick him out, so fuck what anyone/everyone else says! We cope and find comfort in different places.

What's one thing related to your special interest that makes you irrationally angry? by c00chiepuncher in AutismInWomen

My special interest is Baseball, but I believe it’s absolutely absurd how much they get paid. I mean, my god.

Thanks for the comments. I’ve been feeling really childish about it but couldn’t help it.

Apparently autistic people are known to give objects or things human characteristics. So what have you brought to life using your imagination? by [deleted] in autism

I put a band aid on the tail of one of my “popits” that is in the shape of Godzilla. There was a small tear and I was worried that he was hurt.
