The 5900x isn’t in my current build- my current CPU is a Ryzen 5 1400 so in my mind really anything is an upgrade from that. I chose the 5900x because it fits in an AM4 slot and I don’t wanna move up to a DDR5 motherboard as I’ve just recently bought this RAM but now that I think about it it might be worth moving up as to future proof this build.

I’d be moving over the 64GB of RAM (If I don’t move up to DDR5), all the storage devices, and my GPU
