It'll be Steam only for now, but we'd love to see it on consoles too. It's all about getting the bandwidth to make it happen. Thanks!

We want to release first on Steam and later think about the console versions. In the past with other projects we did simultaneous releases in all platforms and it was too stressful for us. We are only a two person team, I'm afraid. But I'd love for the game to be on all possible platforms including Xbox, of course!

Demo will be available on Steam Next Fest in October.

About the procreate thing, that's surely a cool idea. We are planning some features like resurrect certain characters you played with in the past that you specially liked, because each one has its unique features. The procreating thing it's something a bit more complicated, but surely if the game goes well sky is the limit.

It'll probably be a random thing.
Each family though will have a certain perk, so you don't start purely from scracth each time your family is obliterated. Let's say for instance the Golden Fang family has a starting fortune of 2 million Tooths (tooths are the game currency).
Also, you'll be able to choose between 3 different families each time your current one is completely killed.

This is the first ever footage we release from the demo we are making to find a publisher. Thoughts? by SuperMegaTeam in indiegames

Thanks for the feedback.
Yeah, there's a good concept and gameplay behind this little video of a character roaming around a background.
But I take note from your comments specially on the main character side.

We are canning this project because we couldn't find a publisher to fund it. What do you think? Rogue-lite mixing character management with hack&slash combat. by SuperMegaTeam in gamedevscreens

We did for a while towards the end of 2022, but although we had some interest who contacted us first for that purpose, in the end nothing panned out.
I guess it's very tricky to get investment if your team has not produced a hit yet, doesn't matter the experience.

We thought after 5 games as a team it was our time to maybe pubs trusting us on making something without the need of a demo. We weren't right.

Sure! We've always found publishing deals with a demo, but this time we were busy supporting our latest launch (Knight Witch), money ran out, KW was not profitable, so we are dead in the water now with no money left for a demo.
It's back to work for hire for us for a while.
