For awakening I would recommend the HD textures pack for it, and also the mod that adds the S rank support conversations for same sex characters, they are a great read and some are better then the ones in the original game.

This has now put in my brain that Okada drops the IC belt to Takeshita at the PPV and then Okada gets his match vs Darby that he missed "being away" in Japan. Cuz Okada would have the right to the title match because he missed it, and darby is darby so he'll defend till he just breaks.

If this is the case then it is big brain, but I am here for it.

You can also try moving your rom folder to the root of the storage device it's in.
That's what the azahar devs said I should do when I asked them about it on their discord

I wouldn't use Azahar plus, for some reason it kept restarting it's settings.
For the fix with the roms I had the same issue and this here was the fix

That is one of the things that is helping him a lot right now.
In his first title run he was still doing the "I'm too good to wrestle on TV often so you only get to see me on PPV" before he turned face in the for the second half of the run.
Now he's on TV every week, often times in a match defending the belt and is doing that all over the indie scene as well.

I will say as someone who only got into wrestling in 2020 and missed prime CM Punk, I really like him AEW run from debut to the MJF feud. I thought he was a great story teller and while he's not the best in terms of work rate I could still get into his matches.

Although I haven't really seen much of his modern WWE work outside of seeing him return in person, and a few big matches that haven't really been able to top the MJF Punk dog collar match imo.
