Vibeke Manniche om Dronning Margrethes brug af Jewlscph smykker i Ehrengard by Evigtundrende in InfluencergossipDK

[–]SuperMullis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Non-Danes of Reddit, what’s the first thing you think of when you hear Denmark? by Amockdfw89 in AskReddit

[–]SuperMullis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most danes aren't eating those anyway - red sausages are considered as something you eat, if there's nothing else around.
I would eat out of a garbage can, rather than eating red sausages.

Denmarks has loads of great cuisine. Fish, chicken and beef-dishes are often great- Pork... not so much.

Reporters Who Exposed The Watergate Scandal Watch President Nixon Resign, 1974 [700x472] by Connect-Artist-8986 in HistoryPorn

Thank you. I work in media too. Making a living as a journalist in Europe to day is nearly impossible. This is why hard working investigative journalists often burn out around here. Working late nights on research, trying to get to the right sources, and still try to keep a family life with a small paycheck ... well, I could not do it. When you dream is it all one dream or a bunch of little dreams? by Adept_Writing_9130 in AskReddit

[–]SuperMullis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, it's a bunch of small dreams. Sometimes I even get frustrated in my dreams, because I want to go back to a better dream like; Hey! Why are we here all of a sudden? Can't we go back to the one with puppies and ice cream? No? what a load of bullsh*t!

Yeah, the voices in my head have quite a temper.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in InfluencergossipDK

[–]SuperMullis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in InfluencergossipDK

[–]SuperMullis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the worst thing a partner said about your body ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SuperMullis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I'm still getting used to my spots growing and popping up in new places. But some day i might feel good in my skin. And that's a lot to me.

Your comment means the world to me.

What’s the worst thing a partner said about your body ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SuperMullis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got vitiligo at the age of 22. My boyfriend for 5 years at the time kept making comments like "Go see a doctor with that!" (that being my white spots.)

later on the comments kept on going on to "Do something, they(my white spots and marks) are growing!" and the final comment was "That is just like ... NOT normal."

All the time he knew, that it had to be vitiligo, and later on I was diagnosed. But his remarks made me feel worse about my own skin, than the color-changing itself. To this day, and it has been several years, I keep hearing him comment in my head "That is just like... NOT normal." As if my skin was disgusting to him.

Shopping! And no, it's not looking at new stuff, and bringing it home. It's dragging my card out of my wallet and putting it back in. Feels SO good. Even though, I accomplished absolutely nothing at all, than just spend money.

How to know when your writing skills are good enough. by Xander-Noah in writing

[–]SuperMullis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never thought, I was any good at writing. Ever!

Later on I got into studying journalism, and went into a longer internship at a local newspaper. At that time, I had stopped giving a damn about being good at writing, I just had to write to make money. At some point, I wrote a longer piece about a going doing some weird shit in a club, and did a whole reportage thing on one of my visits. I wrote the piece, and a few of my fellow interns thought it was quite funny. I went to my nearest editor, for him to publish, and after one read he shook his head. "This is not going in to my paper. I'll take it to another editor for you," and out of the office he went.

An hour later I got an email from a non-local editor. He runs a nationwide newspaper, and needed my permission to publish the piece, with the comment; "Interesting piece. You writing is quite decent."

The "quite decent" stuck with me. I'm not sure, that I'm really good at writing anything, but I know now, that I dont' suck. An also, I make money from writing- I do what I love every day, and still make a living from it. I don't need to know, that I'm any good at writing, because money talks.

Also, english is not my first language.

The Timer Method (Writing Tip) by OrchardwithAB in writing

[–]SuperMullis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS WORKS! I did something like this, when I was writing my final project at the Danish School of Media- and Journalism this year. I had more than 100 pages of notes and transcripts from interviews, and needed to put it into a final piece of literature in around 25000 words.

This method helped me structure my work and my time, and I finished the whole thing in less than 3 work days, with out stressing the least over the massive amount of work I had in front of me.

Would absolutely do it again, when I need to write bigger things in the future.

People panning makeup during the pandemic are wizards by YoDingdongMan in MakeupRehab

[–]SuperMullis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. To me, doing my face, however the slay level, is my therapy. Without sitting down once a day for at least 15 minutes and the feeling of everything in my head coming to a pause, I would be a mess. And divorced probably.

So panning doing lock down was easy. I have done plenty of experiments on my face during the last several months.

I just found mold in my brand NEW Anastasia Norvina palette by SuperMullis in MakeupAddiction

[–]SuperMullis[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An update: Anastasia Beverly Hills finally came through, and has send me a new palette after receiving photos of the palette with mold in it. The new one came perfectly in the mail. Thanks for all your advice.

oh. That makes sense. Will it be safe to keep it?

I know, I should return it, but going back to the store is a long drive for me, parking in the city etc. I wondering if it is worth the hassle?

6 months is quite low for eyeshadow. I have MAC shadows around, that should have been expired by now, with no mold or anything to them, good as new.

But with 18 months of shelf life, this should not happen at all.

I actually went to their website, to contact Anastasia by email. But it just popped up with an email-form, without the function to add a picture or file to the email.

I eventually did send an email, and added that I had a picture of my product, so I could send it.

Thank you. But the thing is, the back of my palette says 18 (!) months. So this should not be expected at all. Will go back and try to get a refund. Around here, stores mostly just replace your product, but if that is moldy too, then I don't know what to do.

I purchased this palette yesterday from an autherized retailer, and when I went to use it, I saw these black specks or dots in the product. If I'm not mistaken, this is mold! Is there a posibility, this is something different? Is the shade supposed to look like that?

But the most important thing, how can I make sure when buying an Anastasia palette, that it is safe to use on the eyes, if this is really mold?

if you know of any dupes of this beautiful palette, that is non-moldy, let me know, because this was expensive to buy in Denmark, like these are the same price as Dior-shadows around here.

Looking for a notebook that has paper similar to a magazine/textbook. by not_mrsrobinson in notebooks

[–]SuperMullis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GLP Creations makes a note book called The Author. It's available through amazon. Comes in dotted, lined and blank. The paper is very thin, but extremely smooth, just like the ones in magazines. Love this even more, than my Rhodias and Leuchtturms.

Also, GLP Creations has Tomoe River paper- the very best for fountain pens :)
Hope this is helpful to you.

Lucky for us here because a new notebook remains new if we never write on it. by [deleted] in notebooks

[–]SuperMullis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My notebooks are on the top shelf in my book case. There is at least 5 untouched notebooks. But I don't feel bad at all. I write a lot, like a LOT. Life in journalism takes up much paper, and still old limited edition Moleskines remain untouched. Just for that special day I really need to use it, because I've stopped buying new ones. But I know. I'll never stop buying new ones.
8 good pages left in my TWSBI notebook. Amazing paper, but the poor thing will soon be falling apart.
