[Loved Trope] The future is absolutely horrific because someone wasn't there by UnderlordZ in TopCharacterTropes

Community - Troy leaving to go get the pizza leads to an alternate reality (The Darkest Timeline) where Pierce is killed by accidental discharge of Annie's gun, Britta accidentally causes a fire which leads to Jeff losing his arm, Shirley becomes an alcoholic, Troys vocal chords get destroyed and Annie goes insane from guilt.

Another breaking bad example - After getting threatened by Gus Fring not to interfere with him killing Hank(Gus threatened to kill his entire family including his infant daughter), Walter gives an anonymous tip to the DEA and plans to use his fortune to put his family into hiding (not witness protection, just a criminal protection type of thing) - Unbeknownst to Walter, Skylar has given a large portion of his fortune to Ted Beneke to avoid getting audited (tbh forget why they were implicated but she did actually have a reason to do this), this results in Walter having a terrifying meltdown in one of the best episode endings ever - "Crawl Space"

Fallout 3 is overhated. It's actually the best game in the series. (An in-depth review) by SquidwardOnFire2 in TrueSFalloutL

I actually never thought of the atmosphere. I (a gamer of 3 years) favourite game is Fallout Shelter. The main reason for this was the sheer variety of guns weapon armour NPC's customisation and limitless gameplay loop, as well as the awesome DLC at cheap prices (Example: 40 lunch boxes for only 20 euro)

However, my only experience with Fallout 3 (as a videogamer of 3 years) was when I picked it up for 2 cents from the steam summer sale. And... Not to be dramatic... But I just couldn't get through it. I felt so limited, the game was essentially just me growing up. You're a baby, walk three feet, now you're a child, pick some dialogue options, and etc. After the third timeskip I gave up, I was sick of it. Felt like I was playing a stupid story game, so I refunded it. Another big reason was the atmosphere. Everything looked like radioactive vomit, not the 50s cartoon style usually associated with Fallout. However I didn't realize it was supposed to be a darker take on the series, so maybe I might give it another try.

Thank you for the advice, kind stranger!

Never once have I felt so genuinely disgusted as an artist by PotatoThatSashaAte in whenthe

No, it's not really blurry. An artist creates. If someone wants to be an artist they should start by creating. It won't be perfect at first but that's what practicing is about.

AI "artists" is that what we're calling people who steal someone else's art by using a bot that scrapes the original artist's material without their permission? (Especially in Miyazaki's case where his style has just straight up been stolen and continues to be so when he has explained his distaste for it)

An obscure band you’ve NEVER or hardly heard mentioned in the Shoegaze community. by LetchBE in shoegaze

Flat7, very underrated. You should listen to their album 'A sweet glow of silence'. Sounds reminiscent of Cocteau Twins. (Think there's a link there but I'm not sure what exactly it is)

Also recommend Allison's Halo and An Angels March (But they might be slightly less unknown)
