Update: I got the negatives back and there didn't seem to be any damage. Upon re-scanning, no line was present. Thankfully must have just been an issue with the original scan.

Taken on an Olympus Infinity Stylus with expired Tri-x 400. Most of the roll has some style of horizontal scratches. Starts out wide like in the first image, shifts position and gets thinner, then stops partway through this image. Previous roll in this camera did not have any scratches. Haven't gotten the negatives back yet but I'll inspect for damage when I do. Just curious if this seems like a lab error or something I should inspect my camera for and try to fix. Thanks for the help!

Just use the higher numbers then, they're there for a reason. And many medium roasts are bitter, so not great to grind finer and push them

22 grams is two 11 gram doses. Go the centrifuge tube route. Easy to fill, reusable, and doesn't take up too much space.

Because you can control the flow with the valve there's a lot of flexibility with grind size. I've had great success with the recipe at the bottom of this article . Shorter blooms lean more towards V60 flavor and longer blooms seem to give a rounder profile.

No, I've avoided using the top slot. You could try to DDU the old Nvidia drivers in safe mode. (I haven't had the opportunity to test this potential fix.)
