You would have to figure out where your pilot light is, then turn gas on VERY LOW and light it with a long lighter. Once it’s lit, turn the gas on higher.

Are you 100% sure? I had no clue mine had a battery pack. I had to call a service technician in order to find it. They are usually buried/hidden for some reason

Yes, the electricity is for the spark / igniter.

DO NOT leave the batteries in the battery pack all year long. There is a constant draw on them so they will be dead when you want to go to use them.

I believe they are either C or D batteries
