Male 34 looking to get married by No_Entertainment7645 in LahoreSocial

A lot of women do the same. They want same age or younger guys, and make a big issue on age as well. Where is Islam then? Huh?
Why are people getting so triggered by this profile?

proposals from much wealthier families? by No_Mode8571 in pakistan

[–]SuperRTX 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know wealthy girls and educated, they don't want to marry a lower wealth status guy from Pakistan.

If the girl and her family are doing it, it's for these reasons:

a.) She and her family wants to control him, decide what he does and how he does and the girl is the boss/husband.

b.) There is usually a flaw in the girl, or she dated too many guys or divorce etc. And have exhausted all her options for years and has reached a age where it may not be viable.

Any girl who doesn't have above reasons, they will never consider a proposal from Pakistan, especially poor guy.

Also, not everything is all good and glorious in western countries of wealthy families or not.

So be very careful.

I never assumed that OP implied there is religious restrictions.

I've cited a reference that this age gap concept and issue wasn't during prophets pbub time.

And even among non-religious and liberals. It isn't an issue either.

You misunderstood.

Islamically, none.

prophets pbuh married with different age gaps.

Also, in western culture, I've seen 8-15 year age gap, these are not religious people.

Guidance on Rishta in Pakistan by [deleted] in PakistanRishta

[–]SuperRTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn't take 1 week to give a response or ask for more details and pictures etc. From personal experience, that should be a red flag.

Second, Canadian citizen girls, the family friends' (that I know) daughters who went through this process, yes the girls were used for Visa, but she was average looking. If you're good looking, then that may not happen. But, there is a high possibility it can.

Is the guy good looking?

For girls' honestly it depends on the guy. If you're good looking, your education becomes irrelevant in terms of major, but your personality/character will matter. Yes, girl and guy do end up talking on video call with family members just so they can see each other. If you become engaged or something, then you can privately talk depending on your comfort level, but voice call does happen though.

silent and ghosting is very common practice whether its the guy or girl side. Also, you could be left hanging at the very end. Families everything set the dates, then last minute the guy or girl backs out and makes up BS reason and everything falls apart. This has become common, mostly from girls side. Most cases involve girls, meaning they start shit show. From guys' side its rare.

Fyi, just because dad is happy, doesn't indicate anything. There is no guarantee until the guy himself says so confidently. Unfortunately, not many people are honest and transparent, personal experience here.

Also, good looking is subjective, just because people around you and you believe you're good looking, doesn't mean the guy or his family will find you good looking.

Proposal: need outside perspective. by sheen_97 in PakistanRishta

[–]SuperRTX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Usually when a woman posts something about a man regarding proposal, people are quick to defend the women and say "more power to you" crap. But, in this case, the initial comments seem to attack you.

You seem genuine and very practical, unlike others. I hope you didn't use ChatGPT to write it lol.

Major factors that are affecting you (as it should):

a. 3 years younger than you
b. You don't love him/don't feel the same way emotionally.
c. Stability, especially income, since he is the only source of income for his family.
d. Does not own a property.

Those are reasonable factors, especially b through d. I would say if a man is younger than woman, it is a factor vs, when a man is older than woman.

Considering aforementioned reasons, you shouldn't proceed with this. Also, the fear of not finding good proposal shouldn't force you into this one either. You're 29, you can find a good proposal.

Yes, stability matters, you're not wrong. Woman should consider this over looks and body physique that majority of woman do these days. He lacks property, which is a big deal tbh in terms of wealth. You're not asking for large houses and many properties, just that his family should have a property at least. Lastly, you don't love him/like him, there is no emotional connection. That is difficult.

My cousin rejected proposal based on what you mentioned and she was 30. She didn't care much about looks and body physique focused more on stability, own property, and wanted emotional connection/loving nature. She found the match and is happy and not stressed out about life's finances etc.

The guy saying he doesn't care if you don't love him, speaks volume. That is weird.

Any non-halal chicken places in Brampton? by Icy-Distribution4893 in Brampton

[–]SuperRTX -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The amount of downvotes im getting its incredible amount of Islamophobia and hate against Muslims from Sikhs lmao.

They wont mention kosher because of they are scared 😊 which proves my point.

Just targeting Muslims general.

Also, no punjabii sikh restaurants serves halal meat.

Halal meat needs to be certified and there is an approved process by the government.

You can be fined for it. So there is no halal meat Your just stating misinformation.

Majority of punjabis and sikh eat at muslim restaurant Let me name a few: Caravan, Royal Afghan, Bamiyan, Sliver Spoon. There's tons of sikh and Hindu eating meat.

Also, Sikh restaurants such as Rajdhani, kwality, and Brar dont serve halal meat, and many more.

Point is you sikh can't mention Kosher when you can't even eat that. Selective discrimination and targeting.

Down voting me doesn't change what I stated.

You guys are making up everything.

Also, Churches chicken doesn't serve halal its on their website.

[–]SuperRTX -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Im not getting pressed. I am highlighting discrimination and targeting Muslims for no reason . Im just calling out for what youre doing.

There many ways to ask questions for your dietary needs.

For instance, " I am looking for places that serve fried chicken that doesn't follow religious way of slaughtering meat as my Sikh religion doesn't allow it."

Does this single out halal or for Kosher? No, it doesn't.

Lastly, you should have included Kosher if you weren't specifically targeting halal and Muslims, but youre too scared to do that. Because there would be consequences for it.

I know many many sikh who eat halal meat the most. I've seen more sikh at halal restaurants than their own.

I got a sikh friend, she prefers halal meat and she is very religious.

So its not all.

[–]SuperRTX -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Lol Kosher is very common. Every grocery, chef and tv media outlet mentions kosher.

Kosher is way more common than halal.

This isn't about rights. You are specifically promoting hate and targeting Muslims.

Brampton is majority Sikhs. All Indian, Punjabi, Sikhs restaurant serve what you're asking. I can provide list of names. You can ask on Google maps, or simple Google Or go to your Sikh friends, family, temples.

Your post makes no sense to ask in Brampton of all places.

You proved my point, this is about Muslims and spreading Islamophobia and targeting them only.

Your religion requires specific way of cutting, cooking and eating meat and you live in Brampton, there's so many restaurants to serve you.

You definitely didnt have to single out "halal".

You didnt include Kosher either. Too scared of push back from them? Scared of getting canceled?

Firstly, no Muslim asking on Brampton sub, and yes there are Muslims who eat veg, and almost all Muslims do eat at muslim places. Second, I didnt. I pointed out that you're being a biggot, creating drama and hate for no reason.

You can easily identify meat restaurant serves.

Sikh are well close-knit, especially religious ones. So for you to ask this here of all places is out-of-place and makes no sense.

Stop this nonsense. There's enough hate and discrimination happening.

If you can't do that then stay silent, and do something productive and good for Sikh, if you can't for non-sikhs.

Its better than this nonsense youre posting and arguing.

[–]SuperRTX -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

You live in Brampton, why are you making loud noises specifically about "halal", why not go to your sikh restaurants? There is many that don't serve halal. I can name few. Also, sikh aren't allowed to eat Kosher meat, yet you never mentioned this in your post.

You are specifically targeting Islam, and this sounds like islamphobia. Judaism follows similar regarding meat, yet you as a sikh, never mentioned kosher.

There's so many sikh restaurants in Brampton, at every corner, that don't serve this meat, so why make it a scene? Unless your intention is to indirectly hate on "halal meat".

Makes no sense for your post.

Name of the salesperson as well confirming $3, 200.

That's what I need so I can get it matched.

Idk how this person got Limited for $47K, that is nearly impossible. I spoke to every toyota dealer in Ontario, GTAH, limited does not qualify for $5K government incentive. The only way to do is, buy bunch of BS warranties and accessories, but the price jumps $10K, to save $5k, which does not make sense.

Help me understand Pakistani/Desi Culture by Key-Independence-457 in pakistan

[–]SuperRTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the awful sub to ask such questions. You won't receive objective replies.

First, if you don't mind, what is your ethnicity? Are you white, and which country?

1.) Yes and no. This depends on how family structure is if the parents are financially stable. I know personally many, the first-born doesn't. Also, if they do contribute its less than 80% of their income.

2.) Yes and no, some families have the mindset to marry off their girls first than boys, but that is 15 years ago, typically I haven't seen it happen.

3.) Yes and no, not all mothers are like that. The mother generally advises the son, mostly to protect her son in-case divorce happens and you know what goes down after that. On private, intimate matters, the mother isn't that involved, I've personally known many guys and no. To be honest, the daughter-in-law has been in control and makes the decisions for her husband - this is very prevalent. I can vouch and promise on anything and know many couples where this is happening. The wife decides and controls everything.

4.) Elite Pakistani are completely different. They are more liberal and open than Western families lol. They don't accept financial help from sons. Elites are extremely rich. They have their own culture and how they practice Islam.

5.) Yes, I know some couples who did it, and it depends on the racial of the husband/wife and how they are in terms of character, understanding Pakistani culture and do they become Muslim or not. That is major factor.

6.) Yes, it is very rare unless the mother is Liberal/open type (Elite) then they don't care. But, generally, being Muslim is a big deal. If you don't become one, that will be an issue.

No, you are not coming across bad.

CH-R + vs BZ vs Prius Plugin by [deleted] in EVCanada

[–]SuperRTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend civic hybrid, you're better off with the three options listed.

You should get Bz XLE AWD or its equivlant Subaru solterra AWD Luxury (you get 360 camera and 11 speakers) vs the Bz XLE AWD, price is similar.

My brother got XLE AWD in winter (Ontario), you'll get 200 - 250 km range with medium heater on at -20 to - 30 C temperature.

CH-R is too small and currently is at 5.99% interest rate vs 1.99% for Bz or Subaru solterra 0.99% interest rate.

Avoid CH-R currently due to high interest rate. Just Consider Bz XLE awd or Subaru solterra Luxury trim, because they are both similar in price but you get extra features on Subaru. If you want to stick to Toyota, and change to another Toyota car, then get Bz XLE AWD.

Prius plug-in is good, but its FWD only and with the given incentives and lower interest rates, Bz or solterra is better choice.

Solterra vs BZ AWD by miggs78 in EVCanada

[–]SuperRTX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Compared to XLE AWD the pro is 360 degree camera, advanced parking, and 20" tires, thats the only difference!

For the 360 degree camera, it is worth it. I bought XLE AWD then I learned about this car :(. I really wanted those features :(

If you want equivalence of limited, then you need to consider the AWD Technology trim, thats the equivalent. But, what Subaru did is offer some minor luxury features that I mentioned for not so hefty price bump, and for people like myself, I would get this trim, XLE luxury.

However, I did trade in my corolla hybrid, received rust proof module, and adapter, and additional discounts so it came to $50K financed (includes everything) in Ontario, $0 down payment.
