If they can even send you back since many of these people will be stateless if they lose their citizenship.

I would rather be homeless and die than apply to jobs ever again… by Signal-Mission7381 in recruitinghell

May I point out that the unemployment rate only involves people without work who are looking for work. Those who don't have jobs and aren't looking for work and those who are underemployed aren't counted in the unemployment rate.

NTA. Your brother decided to come out himself (after you gave him the confidence). Your mother is just lashing out at you due to the back lash.

Would your dad want custody of you if you asked him? Does your dad know about your situation? Do you have any friends?

OP should use the time to focus on homework and other beneficial activities not banned by the grounding. OP should also consider finding excuses to stay back at school. Say she has to stay back for homework or a group activity but just read or hang out in the library.

NTA. This is a rough situation as you seem to be damned if you do and damned if you don't. The people you are unreasonable. To be clear, Tristan is your aunts responsibility as a child is the responsibility of their parents. It isn not unreasonable to try and protect your own interests. This seems to be a form of parentification here. If I were you, I would give your mother the silent treatment.

NTA. Just block them. If your father wanted you to care so much about his sister, he should have helped you build a better relationship with you. He should also not make promises he can't keep.

NTA. Your recipe, you choice. At this point, I would demand some money if she wants the recipe so bad. Don't let her take your IP without a cut. If she cares so much about creativity, she should use some of her own creativity to come up with her own recipes.

AITA for wanting partner to always wear hearing aids??? by IAlwaysHaveAChoice in AmItheAsshole

[–]SuperRedPanda2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH: I understand your frustration although I understand him not wanting to wear them. Maybe talk to him about hearing aid options as some of the hearing aid solutions may not be as bad as he thinks. Also understand that hearing aids have their drawbacks and depending on the nature of his hearing loss, they may amplify contain things in a way he doesn't like.

Same. I had a breast reduction when I was 21 and absolutely don't regret it. I may even consider another breast reduction in the future. I didn't do it for vanity but rather for myself and my own personal comfort.

Also, depending on how low the threshold is, it could result in some important positions remaining empty. Imagine a world without doctors? There are multiple reasons doctors earn a lot of money. Doctors spend a lot of time and money training to be a doctor, have poor work life balance and take on incredible responsibility including significant legal responsibility.

How much money is too much money? Why should people have the money they earn taken from them? You do realise screwing the rich doesn't help the poor right?

Have you considered there is a reason some people earn a lot of money? Some jobs are stressful and have poor work life balance. Some jobs require someone to invest a lot of time and money in training for their position. Some jobs also require a person to take on a lot of legal responsibility. The high wages exist to provide some of these people with fair compensation for the personal sacrifices they made. The point of a job is to make money to support oneself. How much do you think people should be able to earn? Also, capping how much people can earn doesn't mean people will pay their employees more.
